This is the first time I have felt it was worth the time to write a review for any business. I have bowled in many different places for many years. Tonight I brought my family to Brunswick bowl in Eden Prairie next to the water tower and never plan to go back. When I got there I paid for the two hour bowling. I notice there were several open lanes and asked the man behind the counter if we could get one a couple lane away from the other bowlers. The man behind the counter could not allow that and assured me that all the lanes would be filled up soon anyway. I accepted this, thinking he might know what he's talking about, after all he does work there. So we started to bowl the most frustrating game of my life, the bowlers next to us either did not Know a single rule of bowling etiquette, had no respect for anyone around them and/or simply lacked the common sense knowledge like don't leave your street shoes on the floor right in front of your neighbors lane, or don't allow nine or ten of your friends down to the lane for pictures. It was a very frustrating experience to say the least. I went back up to the man behind the counter to explain my frustration. the man behind the counter still could not help me, he did not offer to let us move to another empty lane even though several more lanes had opened up. I did not ask for a refund of any kind, but I don't think that he would have helped so I left very unsatisfied. My three major complaints about Brunswick Bowl in Eden Prairie by the water tower are; 1- The design almost forces bowlers into the space of the bowlers around them. 2- The way bowlers are assigned lanes right next to occupied lanes even when other lanes are vacant. 3- Bowlers and other people with no respect for others, in my most recent experience this would include the majority of the staff I spoke with. So the only reason I would suggest going there is to see for yourself and then confidently inform others of exactly how bad this place is. more

After not bowling for five years, went there with my family, we didn't know how many lines we wanted to bowl but had to pay in advance...played two lines...would have liked to bowl another game, but didn't want to go back to desk to go through that procedure. Not allowed even a practice frame, heck would have paid for it! A leauge came in later and they were told over the speaker they had ten minutes to practice, so I know the ""kid"" could have let us have a practice ""frame"". more

Clean, affordable, and pretty friendly staff. A great way to spend a child's birthday party (we have done a few here), and a fun way to spend the evening with friends. Pros: parking, cost more

I visited EPLanes a few days ago and I was impressed with the staff and the lanes. The pricing in this website as well as the hours are WRONG!! I would suggest calling before you go for times and pricing. This is a great place for company parties and birthday parties. They have a menu just for large groups! Overall I had a great time while I was there. I would recommend this place to everyone. Pros: great for B-day party, great 4 company party, non smoking times more

I very much enjoy bowling at EP Lanes, I have been bowling there since 1997. Not anywhere in that time do I remember the price being as low as $13 a bowler. Currently the ""Value Package"" is $55 for two hours of bowling. A single game is over $4 on a weeknight. The prices on this sit are very misleading. The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff is helpful, it's good for families with children. Just don't be shocked by the prices when you arrive. Brunswick Eden Prarie Lanes is the place to go. They keep the lanes in great condition. It is really big. It is very clean. The only negative pat is the price and the scoring system. It can get pretty expensive there, and the scoring system is very old. more

Brunswick Eden Prairie Lanes isn't as busy as it was when it first opened, but this center is still one of the cleanest, brightly lit, family friendly centers around. The staff is good natured, and the synthetic lanes are in good condition. Rumor has it that the center will be doing some remodeling to the attached Water Tower Brewing Company restaurant, and upgrading to a newer automatic scoring system in the near future.
