GOOD EXPERIENCE / GREAT FOOD 2/24/2009

My wife and I are retired and live to visit various restaurants in the Orlando area. We have been to Boston Lobster Feast a number of times over the past 4 years and have never had a bad experience. We take the grandchildren, who love breaking open the lobster and wearing the lobster bibs. I was surprised to see the negative reviews on this site. We have found the food to be fresh and were pleased by the variety. I like the baked fish and the shell fish so much, I run out of room for the lobster (not completely, since this is a lobster feast). I do recomment the restaurant. It is much superior to the other lobster buffets in town that we have tried. The variety and quality of the food is superior. Go before 6 p.m. to get the early price and get your waiter to show you how to break open the lobster easily. more

Avoid....HORRIBLE FOOD 5/25/2008

We went to the Boston Lobster Feast by the Florida Mall. I should have listened to all the negative reviews I had read. It was the worst food EVER. We had a coupon for free drinks (we just had iced tea) and our bill was still $184.00 for 4 people. I haven't figured that one out yet. The food was cold, hard, dry and overcooked and in general tasteless. I tried a little of almost everything on the buffet and found nothing that was good. The only good thing I had was the french fries they cook fresh and bring to your table. What a deal! $45.00 for a 5"" plate of french fries. Don't make the same mistake. There are many other places to eat wonderful seafood...Boston Lobster Feast is the biggest rip off of them all.\r Pros: O ca more

Do NOT waste your money! 9/13/2007

The ad said: prime rib, lobster, crab legs, sushi. I called ahead to find out that dinner was $35 per person; $15 for child. Expensive so it must be good, right? WRONG! The food was all of INFERIOR quality. The prime rib was poor quality, the lobster was overcooked, the crab legs were pieces, and the sushi was mostly missing. I cannot believe how disappointing an experience eating at this place on a Friday night could be. It actually made me want to stop eating out. And don't think they made up for the poor ""leader"" foods with either a salad bar or dessert bar, both of which were tiny, sad and unmemorable. I don't think I have ever been more disappointed. (BTW, we out to a neighboring steak house the next night: had three great meals, appetizer, drinks, bottle of wine, tipped generously and still cheaper than two adults and one child at Boston Lobster Feast where we all left disappointed.) Only positive quality at Boston Lobster Feast was Sveltanna, our server, who was very nice; she should go get a job serving a better restaurant. more

Too expensive for bad food and service 9/12/2007

This was my first time to Boston Lobster Feast and I will NEVER go there again, especially the one on International Drive. Reasons to go somewhere else:\r -This place is way too expensive (34.99 early bird, 39.99 dinner)\r -Food was barely edible; shrimp, lobster, mussels, clams, all overcooked. I was gagging on the shrimp pasta.\r -Service was horrible. I could barely understand my waiter. I got there late so he didn't come around with a menu so I didn't get a chance to see that they offered kids meals. My 4 year old daughter ate from the buffet and she ws charged 14.95 even though she barely ate: two bites of mashed potatoes, a bite of broccoli, a bite of fried fishball.\r -Management is horrible. I asked the manager why my daughter was charged 14.95 for her meal and he said she ate the seafood buffet (look at her food list). I told him I called in earlier asking for the prices and was told that kids could eat the non-seafood buffet which would be 8.95. The manager said, they only have the kids meal or the childs buffet. He did not care that my child barely ate anything and that i was not given a menu to choose the kids meal. \r -Restaurant was dirty\r \r In short, this Boston Lobster Feast is horrible and I will NEVER go there again. I am going to tell anyone and everyone to avoid this place. Pros: plenty of parking and not busy-can you see why?? Cons: Bad food, service and management. more

Red Lobster who???? 10/19/2006

This is a seafood lover dream!!! by far better than any Red Lobster or seafood buffet i have ever been too. Ever since going to BLF I refuse to go to and other seafood restarant when im in the mood for seafood. WHY pay $20-40 per person for MAYBE one lobster tail and some fansy potatoes??? when you can pay $25 and have all you can eat lobster tail & more!!!!!. I strongly suggest you give BLF a try!! U WONT BE DISSAPOINTED Pros: All you can eat Lobster, crabs, muussels Cons: U can only get one Lobster at a time more

If you love lobster and crablegs, you're gonna' love this place!!! 7/1/2006

We are visiting Orlando again this year and can't wait to get to Boston Lobster Feast! It is all you can eat Lobster, Crablegs and much more!!! Service is good, family atmosphere and did I mention all the Lobster you can eat? Not like other buffets where you receive 1 lobster tail w/ your other all you can eat foods! Great buy! Great location! We love it!!! Pros: All you can eat lobster and other seafood! Cons: None that I can think of! more

good-n-plenty 3/4/2003

If value & vaiety are your keys, look no farther. We have been here twice with identical results. It's all-u-can-eat seafood buffet for $24.95 each (including whole lobster-as many as you like) is woth checking out. Try the garlic mussels, quite enjoyable. Cafeteria atmosphere, loud. Service levels average. The fish is usually deepfried & tastless, but the shelled eatings are good. Crablegs have been a bit watery and mushy. Also have prime rib, chicken, pasta, salad/fruit & dessert bar included. Next to Florida's mall. Pros: variety, value, whole lobster Cons: crowded, noisy, average taste more
