Discriminatory towards MaineCare Patients 5/9/2018

This office is downright discriminatory towards patients with MaineCare. When my husband phoned in, he was not asked about his insurance status. Upon arrival and filling out paperwork, they inquired about his MaineCare coverage. From there, it was all downhill. The attitude changed. The oral surgeon was brisk in his approach and none too compassionate. I do not recommend. more

no compassion at all 5/30/2012

i called this office today to get an apt. for my husband to have some teeth pulled. he is in severe pain and his mouth smells like rotting meat. they said we could get in right away, until i asked about a payment plan. i told them we have no insurance but we could pay $100.00 a month. then i was immidiately treated like a nobody and turned away. we can't afford $134.00 a week for insurance that does include dental. BUT this oral surgeon would have gotten paid ALL his money not just part of it. YES it would have been payments BUT he would have gotten it everyweek. what happened to caring about a person in pain?????i will NEVER send anyone in his direction. I WILL TELL THIS STORY TO EVERYONE I KNOW more

I went to Dr.Bossong to have two wisdom teeth removed.I first had a consultation where I watched a video so I knew what to expect.I also voiced my concerns and also fear of dentists to Dr.Bossong whom was very understanding.He also has a good sense of humor.He and his staff were great when it came time to get my teeth pulled.It was much less painful than I anticipated and it also helped that everyone there was very nice and made me feel very at ease.I would reccomend Dr.Bossong to anyone needing an oral surgeon. more
