When my little girl was three years old I asked my dentist (in Gainesville) who he believes is the very best Pediatric Dentist, because I wanted a referral for my daughter. He said "well, I know who the best peds dentist is, but you'll have to drive 45 minutes because that is where the best is, Dr Greg Borganelli." I was shocked! Forty five minutes for dental care?? Well... having the "best" is certainly worth driving to Lake City for my family. Our daughter has been a patient with "Dr Greg" over 6 years now and I have never looked back! From the front office ladies that greet you, to the back treatment area, to the check out area, every one you come in contact with makes your child feel special! We recommend him to all our friends with children, and tell them what our dentist told us "if you want the best, go see Dr Borganelli!" Every time we're in the waiting area, we talk to other families, and many are local (they already know his reputation!) but there is always someone there who drives from Gainesville, or even farther! Being an RN, I am very particular with my family's medical and dental care. I highly recommend Dr Greg and his practice to anyone looking for "the best" that Pediatric Dentistry has to offer. After one visit, you'll understand why he's so popular that people travel to see him! Good luck in your search for finding the best for your child... I live in Gainesville and have known Greg Borganelli since he was a pediatric dental resident at the University of Florida in the late 1980's. When we had our first child in 1993, I knew that when the time came for dental care I would take him to Dr. Greg. My children (3 now) have been patients in his practice since 1995. Our oldest just "graduated" to a dentist who sees adults. Our youngest is 3 years old and he went today for his first "by myself" visit. MAJOR SUCCESS! The front office staff and hygenists and assistants are first rate. The atmosphere is non-threatening and comfortable. There are many toys for the children to enjoy in the waiting room, and those toys can accompany the child back to the exam area, if necessary. There is a great system of education and rewards for good dental health. All in all, they do it right! more

Although the receptionist was always pleasant, the dentist, Borganelli, was cruel to my child---who was crying during a procedure. He took it upon himself to yell, with a 'mean face' at my son to "STOP Crying!" more

Wow.. this place is expensive, it is better if you have a good dental plan. The kids really love him and my son feels more comfortable having his teeth worked on here than getting a hair cut from the barbershop. The whole place is just great with the kids. Its like going to a big park, the kids look forward to coming so they can play. My son is a very timid child, I am not sure how they got him to sit for so long and do the amount of work they did on him.. It was like a small miracle. He had about $3,000 worth of dental work done, and we are still not finished. He can't wait to go back.. more
