Borders Books Music Movies & Cafe

Borders to me, is a lot like Barnes and Nobles bookstore. A place to grab a pile of books and or magazines, plop down in a cozy thick-padded chair and take some time out for yourself. Most Borders' Bookstore's have some sort of cafe inside, so you can enjoy reading while sipping a cup of joe. Borders' is also the perfect place to study. It's quiet and very comfertable. more

I always always ALWAYS go to borders for my manga-addiction needs!! Manga is the name of the genre of japanese graphic storytelling and I'm hooked. They have a whole two huge shelves for it, I love them!! They have a relatively lower demand than Barnes and Nobles, particularly because of their location, but that just means that they're in stock more often! B&N is always out of stock and it bugs the heck out of me. Borders also has a nice relaxing environment for the caffe. On some nights, they even have live performances -- and it's just too wonderful to sit their sipping coffee, reading your favorite book, and listening to the lulling sounds of an acoustic guitar. I get all fuzzy inside just thinking about it!! Borders also offers coupons for online members!! I can't remember whether it's just for the mailing list members or whether you need to pay a fee for this membership, but I know my brother always gave me free coupons through his membership *shrugs*. ANYWAY....cool beans. more

Borders is an excellent book store. They are so neat and organized that it is incredibly easy to find whatever you are looking for in here. They always have a nice selection of items. They will also special order books for you if they dont have what you are looking for in stock, and they usually come very fast. I like this book store much better than Barnes and Noble. Best part is they often have discount coupons out anywhere from 10-25% off. It's a great deal. more
