Never the athlete before - but I've done it all - personal trainers, gym memberships, spin classes, aerobics, yoga - you name it. This is the ONLY fitness activity I've actually stuck with & keep up with on my own. Show up with a 'can do' attitude and you won't believe the things you really CAN do. Every workout is different & tailored to YOUR capabilities - even in a group of 20+ people. The instructors are awesome - pushing you to keep trying/improving. Typical monthly groups have men & women with everyone from 24 year old triathaloners to new mommies trying to lose the weight to 40+ year old trying to get in shape for the first time. AND EVERYONE gets a great workout. Sensible food guidelines and a fun workouts have kept me coming back for 9 months...
Pros: usually a 5-1 instructor to boot camper ratio; lots of variation to workouts
