Books a Million 10/31/2006

We don't have a Barnes and Noble anywhere near here so I do my book buying at Books a Million. I have never been in a Barnes and Noble Store but I would imagine that it is basically the same as our Books a Million. If you don't have a Books a Million Store in your town you can check it out here: http://www.booksamillion.com/ncom/books?redirect=1 There is a Joe Muggs coffee shop inside of our Books a Million Store. So, while you are shopping for books you can also relax and enjoy your favorite coffee drinks too. more

Books, Gifts, Coffee.... 6/13/2006

Books-A-Million here in Alexandria is a very popular place. Any given time you pass by here you will see the parking lot is loaded with vehicles. People of all walks of life visit this book store. I often wondered what brought so many people to this store. One day, my granddaughter asked me to bring her there. I agreed mostly because I had not been there and really wanted to know what the attraction was. I was surprised!! They have an area where children can sit and read while parents browse the books. You can purchase gifts here. You can also sit and relax while having a cup of coffee (or other drink). I found out why the parking lot is always full. And I have returned there many times myself since my first visit. more
