Not A Great Selection 12/27/2005

Great for used or first editions, but they only carry Mystery and Thriller books. In an older shopping center, they don't seem to do great in walk in business. Older books and dimly lit, the store is slightly dreary. Very limited space in the store and difficult to navigate. If you know what you are looking for, you can probably find it. more

Book Carnival: A Circus of Fun in Books 8/11/2005

Book Carnival has a wide selection of books. You have heard of hole in the wall restaurants, well this is a hole in the wall bookstore. The people that work for the book store love their job and read a lot of books. They helped me find a book for the summer to read. It was a great choice. Thanks! I thought they were extremely nice to me, but I think they're nice to mostly everyone who shops there. It is a fun and bright place to read books and shop for books. more

One of a Kind! 8/7/2005

This bookstore is a gem. They only carry a small variety of genres (horror and mystery), but they have a terrific selection of books. Another plus is, that because of how nice the owners are, and how long they have been there, they get many book signings, and I have been able to purcase many Dean Koontz books from this store. more

Must for Mystery and Dark Fantasy Lovers 7/31/2005

This bookstore is a must for all mystery and dark fantasy book lovers. Ed and Pat Thomas have been running their store for more than 20 years and really know their books and authors. In fact, they average more than six book signings a month and pull in everyone from long-time favorites to new up-and-comers. (Dean Koontz even dedicated one of his books to them!) They specialize in signed copies and hard-to-find books. more
