This is a great spot to meet up with someone 1/8/2012

The hot wings here are fantastic! The other menu itsma are fantastic as well. But the wings are true buffalo style. They're tangy enough and and flavorful! The meals are pretty inexpensive too. I highly recommend trying it out. more

Maybe it used to be better 12/1/2011

I heard a lot of great things about this place, but was underwhelmed when I finally experienced it for myself. The burger was good but not as amazing as it had been built up to be or worth what they charged for it. The service was average, but again, nothing special. The counters were also a bit greasy which made me glad I was sitting at a table. At least that looked like it had been wiped down recently. more

Great Place! 12/31/2010

My mom took me here for the very first time and it was a great, ever since then I was hooked. They make some pretty great burgers and fries. I had brought a few friends and they loved it too! more

BEST BURGER IN BROOKLYN 11/16/2010

I have lived in Brooklyn my whole life. Food is my life and this place has the best burgers . . . SERIOUSLY. The toppings are limited which is just further proof that their meat tastes that good. The wings are also awesome. This is an anniversary joint for me and my guy; beer, wings, and burgers is the best way to celebrate LOVE! more

Terrible Service and really the burger isn't that great 6/28/2010

Once upon a long time ago, Bonnies was like my favorite place. Their phone number was on speed dial, and I'd get some wings and go to the park. Back in those days they had lovely waitresses who would, you know, ask you if everything was alright and if they could get you something. At some point Bonnies became a dude only institution and now even though there are 6 guys working you will never ever get one to come to your table if you need something. And if you happen to flag one down, he'll tell you that he'll send your waiter over which may or may not happen. Anyway, to get to the real tradegy, I had a burger here last week...and it wasn't half as good as the burger I had the day before at Double Windsor. For a place that is hyped for it's burgers, they have not kept up with Pat LaFrieda and grass fed and whatever else they need to do to stay on the delicious front of the pack. Not worth it. Go to Shake Shack instead. Pros: good beers and great fries Cons: the service here gets worse everytime I go more

Best Burger in NY 5/1/2010

This is hands-down the best burger I've had in NYC, maybe anywhere. Over two dozen visits now and no variation, just consistently excellent. I have family in Ireland who make this place their first stop when they're stateside. The wings are the real deal too. I'm from Buffalo and I have to say, I suspect these guys are too, because the wings are legit. Also there's a Buffalo Bills helmet on top of the surprisingly well-stocked beer cooler. An often overlooked gem is another Buffalo original, the beef on weck. For you down-staters, it's thinly sliced roast beef au jus on a kummelweck roll (a Polish/German-style roll with caraway seeds and kosher salt), served with horseradish. If you've never had it, I highly recommend it. I like the vegetarian chili a lot too. Pros: Burgers, Beef on Weck, Real Wings Cons: Often Crowded more

Best Wings Ever 1/30/2010

The food here is really delicious, fresh, home-made and a must-try in Brooklyn. All of the sandwiches are good including, the grilled chicken with brie, pulled pork, portobello, turkey burger and all sandwiches/burgers come with your choice of sides: salad, vegetarian chilli, soup, spicy cole slaw, or fries, which i would def recommend. They are fresh, crispy, and perfectly seasoned (The fries also beg for a little squeeze of the special chipotle mayo)...but out of their options their straight up cheese burger (maybe with some bacon too) is the best. Really juicy and very flavorful. I'd def recommend getting the sauteed jalape?os on it too. They also have a really nice selection of beers-specials on draft, and many different bottle choices too. The mention of beer brings me to the headline, which is the best wings ever!!! You must order a really nice beer if only for the fact that it will perfectly compliment your order of wings (10 or 20 pieces) They come in medium, hot and ""hotter."" I'd go with the medium because it has enough kick, but if you're looking for sweat and maybe a few tears you can try the hotter (The waiter usually gives a fair warning before letting anyone get the hotter-that is how much ""hotter"" they truly are). Each order of wings are made fresh and the skin always comes out nicely crisped with juicy meat inside. Yummmmmmmm. Pros: Yummy Cons: Gets a little crowded more

Insanely good burgers!!! 11/10/2009

There is no better place in the city to get burgers. Soooo delicious, just spicy enough, and really great fries too. Plus a good beer selection. They have chipotle mayo to dip the fries in, too, which is yummy. I highly recommend this place - just go early, it gets crowded! more

Like the feel, but pricey 6/9/2009

Cute place with exposed brick and bar seating that makes you feel like you're in an old diner. The burger I had was very good, but the beer wasn't cold enough. I felt that six bucks was a lot for a beer that wasn't even cold. A frosted glass probably would've helped. The bill was close to twenty bucks for a burger and beer. Pros: food quality Cons: price, no frosted glass for beer, wait staff more

Best WIngs EVER 1/22/2009

Not a greatly decorated place, but man, the food is awesome. I highly recommend the burgers, although sometimes not cooked as well done as you'd like, but still delicious. The wings are soooooo good. I don't even like spicey food but it's so worth it. Even the fries are good. Ok it may not be the cleanest looking place on earth , and the wait staff can be a bit rude, but the food makes it all worth while Pros: FOOD Cons: Small, crowded more

Get their wings and fly! 12/3/2008

Best buffalo wings in Park Slope--and maybe much farther around--at this tiny but homey joint that also has a renowned burger. Cozy, sometimes crowded, but well-priced comfort food (also including a range of sandwiches, like the Buffalo specialty beef-on-weck). more

bad news 8/12/2008

went here a few weeks ago and i remembered that i was here 2 years ago with a friend and the food was really good then. sadly, however, tghis time it wasnt. i ordered a cheeseburger very well done and got a hamburger that was hardly medium cooked. When i politely told this to the waiter he seemed highly annoyed and unsympathetic. I am sure he was overworked and the place was in fact busy( had to sit at the counter) I did leave a respectable tip regardless, but the manager should reitterate to the servers that the customers shoukd be treated a little nicer. Also, beer bottles on shelf are greasy and dusty. Not a clean place at all.... Too many good places out there to have to settle for subpar Pros: location Cons: undercooked burger more

I just spent an entirely satisfying couple of hours at Bonnie's. Pros: All good Cons: less than perfection more

(M)eat here 8/7/2008

Just came here the other day because my teacher kept raving about this place a few months ago . When I first walked in , there was a long line but no worries .. you will get your order quicker than you think . I got a super steak which was okay but kind of on the bland side . I'm sure I've had better . They have a lot of different flavors of grill to choose from which is awesome because some grill places don't even carry that . Basically if you're looking for a cheap filling meal , this is the place to go . Order a steak or whatever and wash it down with meat .. nothing can top that . more

Consistently great 4/21/2008

Burgers, fries, and everything in between. They are always pleasant, and accomodating even to vegetarians! Get all the free add ons for your salad! Great for late nite munchies. more

Like this kind of food? Go 2/15/2008

I'm a fan, what can I say. There are 4 things to eat at Bonnie's - the burger, the wings, the fries and, last but not least, the chipotle mayo. Never stray and never be disappointed. Don't go to a burger place if you're a vegetarian (although the chili cheese fries look pretty good from a distance). Also don't go every night because you'll gain a hundred lbs. See you there. more

  • Welcome to Bonnie's Grill, where we have some of the best burgers in Brooklyn and maybe even all of New York. We know that we have the best chicken wings in all of New York. That is right. Two guys from Buffalo bring you great food every night of the week and lunch on the weekends. We serve a variety of hot sauces with our wings, a huge selection of beers and microbrews.

Aside from some occasional game specials we also offer an eclectic soup and polenta special every night. Our catfish burger is so unique and so good that the United States Catfish Association recognized it and published the recipe in their cookbook.

For all you non-meat eaters, we offer sandwiches and salads to fit your needs. Also, we make all of our delicious desserts on premise. With our fun and lively atmosphere we invite you to stop in and have a bite to eat.
