The visit itself was okay, nothing special. It was my first time there and he wasn't as thorough as I would've liked. I had to specifically tell him to look at the different parts of my mouth. In the end, he charged me $120 for the exam, x-rays, and a cleaning. He said it would be $170 to fill my three small cavities next time. A month later, I was talking to my mom and found out that all of those things are covered on my insurance and I shouldn't have paid a dime. She called the insurance company and, even though his receptionist took all my insurance information, HE NEVER EVEN BILLED MY INSURANCE. When my insurance called his office, they "lost my file." Low and behold, when they found it the next day it said the doctor did extra procedures that aren't covered on my insurance and that's what I paid for (supposedly). Oh and he all of the sudden remembered to file that claim with my insurance that he was supposed to do over a month ago. Also, it's not supposed to cost me $170 for my three small cavities. He is just a greedy dentist looking to take advantage and overcharge.
