My wife and I were in the mood for seafood recently, and decided to finally try this place. A little on the pricey side, but we were willing to pay for a good meal. Unfortunately, I can't say that I was very impressed.
You are able to choose which type of fish you would like, cooked on a wood-burning grill, and one of 3 or 4 sauces to top the fish. I ordered the shrimp and scallops with the chimichurri sauce. I LOVE chimichurri, so I was excited to see it on the menu... unfortunately, it was a big disappointment as it didn't have much flavor at all. The chimichurri at Chili's tastes much better! The shrimp and scallops themselves were overcooked, chewy, and gritty. Big letdown. The vegetable sides weren't great either, and the potatoes au gratin tasted like it was made with Cheeze Whiz... not appetizing at all!
On the other hand, my wife ordered the tilapia with the lemon butter sauce, and it was actually very good. The fish itself had a wonderful grilled, smoky flavor which I had never experienced with fish before, and I was a big fan of it... so the experience wasn't all bad.
This wouldn't be a bad place if you knew what to order... I just can't help but think that if you're going to spend this kind of money on seafood, why not go to the Columbus Fish Market where you're virtually guaranteed a great experience? Otherwise, you'd honestly be much better off going to Red Lobster.
Pros: Grilled fish has a great smoky flavor
Cons: Chimichurri was very disappointing
