Bombshell Waxing

I had my first Brazilian at Bombshell and am so pleased with the staff and the service. I was terrified and feeling very self conscious, but Debbie was wonderful and put me at ease right away. more

This place is awesome, the new location is huge and beautiful!! its so chic and fun. I always leave feeling sexy and sassy! I love the lingerie store as well as the waxing services!! I see Ms Debbie. She is so funny and friendly i forget she is looking at my goods!! The girls at the front are always cutting up and giggling. they make you feel like their BFF's I hope they open up a location in uptown soon!! more

ZERO Customer Loyalty! I've been going to this place regularly for over a year. I even moved locations with them, even though they moved 15 min further away from where I live. I then had to cancel an appointment last minute because I was called into work and they still charged me for half my appointment!! I completely understand that no shows are a problem, but I think it is ridiculous to charge a customer who has been coming that often, and who wants to reschedule the appointment, half of the appointment. Maybe a $20 fee, but $40 is ridiculous and no way to treat a customer! I will not be returning to them. Also, their new location is not very clean. more

I am usually only inspired to write about a place if its not great, however, bombshell waxing is a really great down to earth, locally owned salon. you muct check them out ladies. I had an amazing wax, and my husband will be there next week getting his back waxed! Ill keep ya posted on how it goes! more

I went to Debbie at Bombshell for my first ever Brazilian. I was absolutely petrified. However, she is amazing! I'm not just saying this, but it didn't hurt at all. At most there was a small pinch and then it was over. She uses hard wax and it is unbelievable!!!! I just got back from my second appointment with her and this time there wasn't even a pinch of pain, it was that great! I'm sure all the other employees are great there, but I'm going to stick with Debbie for as long as we are both in New Orleans. The place itself is nice, clean, and comfortable. It doesn't try to pretend it's some super chic spa, but it's all that I need from my waxing salon. If you ever want to start waxing or if you have been and still think it hurts, go to Bombshell and you'll never go anywhere else again! Also, if you book your next appointment at the end of your appointment, you get $10 off! It's awesome!!!! more

I highly recommend Lynn. I re-booked immediately because I had such a good experience getting my first brazilian wax. It was painless and I was comfortable the entire time. I just had to write and report on my experience there Saturday morning. I had contacted them about getting a Brazilian wax treatment. They arranged that Lynn would do the job. I called her on the phone on Friday afternoon for some last minute ""assurance"" as this was to be my first such experience. She was very pleasant on the phone and did much to allay my concerns. When I arrived the next morning, she greeted me and lead me to the ""chamber of horrors,"" at least, that was what was on my mind. The fact that ""NO SCREAM"" cream was even offered further unsettled me, I can assure you. Anyway, Lynn was the consummate professional. Gracious, gentle, reassuring, constantly asking if I was okay throughout the entire procedure. She even bragged on my ability to stifle the screams--no, seriously, it was not nearly as painful as I had been warned--and thus anticipated. Before I knew it, she was finished and I was BARE--wow! What a job she did! I had no trouble deciding for the follow-up/upkeep appointment. I'm almost looking forward to it. She's the very best! You can't go wrong with LYNN or the other SUPER folks at Bombshell Waxing. Pros: LYNN, atmosphere, price, LYNN Cons: Couldn't find any! more

This was my first brazilian wax and I must say, the experience was great. Lynn was awesome and she made me feel very comfortable with the whole procedure. I do advise in taking some Ibuprofen 30-45 mins before and also use the No Scream Cream, it really helps in numbing the area and making it as painless as possible.
