I was originally optimistic about Boerne Automotive, but what was initially a few simple repairs that were supposed to be finished by 10am turned into a saga of extra repairs that were not finished until nearly 4pm. The store manager who was there at the time, Lionel, pressured me intensely to have repairs performed that I did not need, and also performed repairs that I did not give him permission to perform on my car, then charged me for them. I asked twice for him to take pictures of the damage to my car and the repairs that were being done, and both times he agreed. When I arrived to pay the bill, he didn't have photographs, and said that he was having trouble with his phone and that his shop did not do things like that. When I did go to pay the bill, it was more than $300 more than I had initially been quoted over the phone, and Lionel told me that the price he had quoted me over the phone was in addition to the initial repairs, which was not what we had discussed, as I had given him a very specific price limit over the phone. Overall, he lied to me, test drove my car without my permission and used 1/8 a tank of gas to do it, performed repairs I didn't authorize and charged me for them, and took zero responsibility for not having quoted me properly over the phone. I've reported their business to the Better Business Bureau, and I wouldn't go back if it was the only repair shop in Texas.
