too bad 6/17/2009

I've been out for a while and stopped in this week to rejoin but was very disappointed. Trash and cigatrette butts near the front door, the men's room was dirty, the ellipticals are caked with dried sweat. Even the ""spirit"" was low. Not sure what happened? Pros: Near Gulfport Cons: Dirty more

Body Dynamics puts ALL other gyms to shame! 9/30/2008

I freakin' LOVE this place. When I walk in the front desk staff call me by name (and they don't even cheat and look it up in the computer first). I get the best workout and my abs look amazing from all the extra laughing I do there. Pros: Amazing group of staff Cons: can't really think of one. more

Zumba rocks it! 9/12/2008

I love Zumba and this place has the best Zumba that I've tried in St Petersburg. Of course, my hometown of Miami really has the best on the planet, but the instructors at this club are fun and have great choreography. Also, this club has a good mix of fitness classes for ""baby boomers"" including a good Zumba Gold class and another senior class (with a very happy instructor) that looks fun. Pros: great classes, day pass available, clean Cons: no locks for rent more

Best St Pete Beaches Gym 5/21/2008

We spend half of the year on St. Pete beach and this has been our gym for 18 years. The staff is so friendly! The locker-rooms and workout area are sparkling clean and updated. A few fun classes are - Pilates, Zumba and Spin. My husband likes the weight area and the spinning. If you are seasonal or just visiting the beach then don't event waste your time with any others. One hint, try to stay away at their busy times from 8-10am. If you have to go at that time their is a big lot behind the building to park in. Pros: CLEAN and Friendly Cons: no pool more

The Best Gym Near the Beaches 10/18/2007

The best gym in the area! They have everything you need for a good workout. If you are on vacation this is the place to go - clean locker rooms & modern equipment in working order. Far nicer with more equipment and classes (yoga, pilates, step, abs) than other gyms in the St. Pete Beach and Treasure Island area. Also, there is an excellent group cycling schedule with great instructors. Pros: Clean, Clean Clean! Very modern facility. Priced the same as others in the area. Cons: No pool or hot tub. more
