Great gym, great work out! 11/26/2010

I am a fitness junkie! I try all the new and trendy work outs and find myself driving all around town. Body Design is conveniently located right next to Fashion Island and has a variety of fitness classes...not to mention the beautiful ocean view! I highly recomend this gym. The trainers ar SO friendly and you'll leave felling really good about yourself! more

Great place to work up a sweat, then realx! 11/25/2010

I had won a gift certificate from an auction for spa finder and I'm so glad Body Design was one of the spas associated. Fist, it's not a "Day Spa" it's a beautiful fitness center with an ocean view and very nice staff that thankfully has a few rooms for facials, massages, tan treatments, waxing etc. I'm a fan because I liked being able to use the gym before my treatments. They have a room to shower and change and a lot of good spa products you can buy on the way out! I recomend this place to anyone who is looking for quality treatments, facials and massages especially! more

great gym with highly qualified instructors. great view 1/1/2010

I loved it from the moment I walked in. It is beautiful with a great view of the ocean. Clean private and highly qualified instructors. Gyrotonics is amazing everyone should try it. The many group classes keep you challenged. The new TRX classes are a great workout. Body Design is the best gym in Newport Beach!!! Pros: wonderful gym atmosphere beautiful more

extremely knowlegable and professional staff 12/5/2009

I recently had a massage and facial at Body Design and I felt both therapists were excellent. The massage therapist seemed really interested in helping to correct some neck and shoulder issues I have been having and gave me some great tips to do at home. I have actually felt better ever since. The facialist was very informative and explained to me why I continue to have some stubborn acne and hyperpigmentation. I have seen the product line she uses at to other well known spas, (The St Regis & The Four Seasons Beverly Hills) and it turns aout she is an esthetic trainer. She really seems to know her stuff and the facial was wonderful. I saw some hi-tech equipment there that she explained was LED and micro-current technology for corrective treatments. I am going to try that next time for sure. This is a wellenss center focusing on fitness and therapy so don't expect hot tubs and lounges but the price is right if you are more interested in expertise. more

Violated by Groping Masseuse 6/19/2009

True the male masseuse got out my knots for the hour but I felt that his hands were groping my "behind" inappropriately (I am a female). To this day I have unpleasant memories of the experience and I don't want future customers feeling violated as well. The venue is primarily a sports gym with a small room set up in the back with a massage table inside. No lounges or showers for relaxation, just a walk-in and walk-out place for a quick service. more
