I have been on tour with WICKED for almost 3 years, the last 10 months playing the role of Madame Morrible. I had my first facial as a result of the wear and tear of the make up on my skin. I have now had facials all over the USA from a tiny exclusive spa in Denver, CO to the Georgette Klinger flagship spa in Dallas. I have never had a facial that can compare to the ones given to me by Dawn and Francesca at Bodiscience. They approach the facial in a hollistic manner. Since their skills and techniques include applying an Eastern approach to the meridians and chakras of the face and shoulders, they ask questions to be able to maximize the healing aspects of their work. Theirs are literally healing hands! Everytime I leave Bodiscience, I am blissed out and glowing!!!! This is not one of those, scrub, moisturizer and pop your pores facials!!!! This is an approach that not only treats the facial skin and its health and healing but relaxes the body and mind which produce the stresses on the skin. Treat yourself! You will be so glad you did. I have been to many spas, destination spas, day spas and places that think they are spas. This is truly the best spa I have been to! I have been several times and each time I have had treatments Dorothy, Megan, Dawn and Francesca have consistently exceeded my expectations. The environment is relaxing and the quality of treatments are...as I say in the title...""phenomenal""! As I read other reviews it is quite clear that some people may be expecting the frills that really do not matter. Locker rooms, Vichy showers and Jacuzzis are not what make a spa! Quality of treatments, education, and intention of touch, customer service, techniques and how you feel after a treatment is what matters. My skin looks great, I feel like my body has been redesigned and I feel like I have done something healthy for myself. Most places use steam in facials and you leave red and irritated. I leave with glowing skin, no irritation and my boyfriend tells me I look great. I have taken him to have a massage and facial and he is convinced that he needs to have these treatments now. Spa goers beware...these treatments are addictive! If you looking for the superficial type of spa this is not the place. If you really want to know how to take care of yourself, receive treatments that make a profound difference and you appreciate value...this place is for you. Thank you Bodiscience. My fiance & I were planning a special night before the big day so we booked a couples treatment so we could connect and relax................. what a mistake. This was nothing but relaxing.The room was cold, we were not asked to change until we were escorted to the room, where we were told to disrobe together because there were no locker rooms. It was so embaressing! I had planned this nice evening and it was a total flop. We seemed to recieve two completely different massages , one even ended sooner! I just would not do this again. Bravo to this team! This is the first spa that I have ever been to...(and I have been to many!) that truly works together and delivers what they tell you they will do. From the moment I called and spoke with the fornt desk (who...by the way was informative, caring, professional and diligent with finding the best time and day for me) set the tone for my entire experience. I told her what I was looking to have and she helped me decide which treatment were for me. My facial, massage, mani & pedi was more than I had expected. They do not use steam for facials and my skin was so happy about that...I am still glowing. My feet had a pedi that is called an Above and Beyond and that is exactly what it is! A machine that got my feet baby soft. I cannot say enough about the staff, they are attentive and you can truly see that they all have apassion for what they do. \r This is a must visit and rest assure I will be going back again and again and again...as I saw they attract clients that have been with them for years. I think that says it all. In fact the client I met there told me they had been a client for 17 years! WOW! I could see why, and I was so sad it took me this long to find them. My mom is a real spa goer. She has been all over Europe and the US and knows a real spa when she visits. I regret giving her a gift certificate to Bodiscience! I was so embaressed after I heard her experience there. The staff was unprofessional and rude, not to mention inexperienced. She said she could feel the tension between the people who worked there, clearly they do not get along. The way the front desk person spoke to the staff was just awfull! She also said she met the owner who was ""very wierd"", my mom's exact words. In the end, I picked her up and she asked that I never send her there again. She said it was like a ""rinky dink"" operation run by an unstable woman. It had a very cold feel to it. more

I've been to many different spas and this is above and beyond, the best I've experienced. My boyfriend and I have had several couples massages here, and I now bring my Mom for relaxing treatments as well. Aside from the beautiful atmosphere, what brings me back each time is the professionalism and the attention to detail. They make it a full experience. It's now the gift I give to myself and the people I love. I have very high expectations when it comes to service, and I recommend Bodiscience to everyone. Lastly, just a final note about the personal atmosphere: very warm and respectful. I just sent my Mom there today and she called me to tell me how wonderful it was. Where do I begin, Well for starters, when I got there I was met by an older woman who was rished and really rude. She then beagn to look for my appointment in the book and could not find it, telling me I must be wrong and have the wrong time. My fiance made the appt and gave me the time card which I showed her. Now she looked at me with disgust as if I were bothering her.Well maybe I was considering her bowl of smelly soup was on the front desk and she had some on her mouth. In the end, another person came out while the mean old oger ran around in back to get someone to do my treatment, I actually heard her yelling at a girl saying she didn't know what happened but her lunch would have to wait. The gal who did my facial was nice but clearly stressed out. I could not relax or enjoy my facial and I won't be going back. THUMBS DOWN!! Cons: Rude desk staff, unprofessional,small. more

I was referred to this spa by a good friend. The staff ask many questions about your health, and while I understand these concerns, I was very disappointed in how the person handling my facial reacted when she learned I have an autoimmune disease. She told me she found my medical treatment ""deeply disturbing"". I leave my medical treatment to my doctor's expertise, not an aesthician. I felt that a boundary had been crossed, and I haven't been back. more

Very recently I was able to enjoy the ""BodiBliss"" experience and I can not stop talking about it to friends. The level of professionalism, patience and spirituality is like no other spa I have been to. Francesca and Dorothy made me feel like a princess all day long. The lifestyle and teachings that BodiScience promotes is comforting, calming and necessary. This spa is not all about how you look, but about how you feel from the inside out. They promote wellness and relaxation through good health and spirit. \r \r The entire experience of having one person pamper you all day long is amazing. It?s like no other spa. The employees are all multifunctional so they do everything from head to toe ? massages, facials, manicure, pedicure, etc. When an employee is busy with someone the rest of the team pitches in to help that person out by cleaning up or getting you a cup of tea or water. I have been to many spas all over the country. This is a REAL spa! They care about your health and educate you. But most of all they deliver incredible service. My skin was glowing when I left and I left with a feeling of calm and being rejuvenated. I had the Above and Beyond everything...foot treatment, facial, manicure and shirodhara treatment. Thank you to the entire staff. The front desk was wonderful to me (I heard someone call her a front desk angel) and the service people all made me feel special even though this was my first visit and I saw they have clients that have been coming for something like 16 years! I don't know where they learned to do what they do but they need to be commended. This is no ordinary spa. I still feel sooooooo good and it has been two weeks since my visit. While traveling to Boston, I had scheduled a facial at BodiScience based on CitySearch reviews. While I loved the facial, it wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but then again I had never had a facial before. It was soothing, comforting and relaxing. Loving the ambiance and professionalism of the spa, I immediately scheduled to have a massage the next day. They fit me in last-minute, and I'm glad they did. The massage was great, just what I needed after the stresses of a lot of driving. The spa is beautiful and everyone is so nice, I can't wait to go back! I have gone to day spas and had facials and massage but nothing has or will compare to the treatments I experienced at this superb facility. My skin was glowing after my Biorythm facial and the foot treatment they performed with a pedi machine was incredible. I felt like my feet were tingling for days and they are still baby soft. The variety of treatments that are offered are unlike any other spa I have experienced. I have Biorythem facial with color therapy once a month and the diffence in my skin has been amazing. The staff never pressures me to purchase products, but by using the Phytobiodermie products at home my breakouts are under control. On occasion I stop in to have a chair massage, it makes for a wonderful break during the week. Bodiscience is my second home and I always enjoy learning about new treatments and products to improve my overall health. I live in the city of Boston and the drive to Beverly is totally worth it. I get the biorythm facial along with the breat treatment. After these treatments I feel relaxed and rejuvenated. When offered the breast treatment I was reluctant to do it.However,Bodi Science has staff that are professional and uphold the utmost decorum when providing this service.
