Bob's Tie Yard

Poor customer service. Went by on Wednesday to check on Friday pick up. Drove to Atoka Tn. to borrow a truck... Came by on Friday at 1:50. CLOSED. (Thought it might be a family emergency - left a nice note asking them to call) I'd been planning this project for weeks! \r \r When we spoke on Monday - I was very polite and explained I had to go to Arlington - to get RR Ties. And it put me behind 3 hours. So I suggested on my ""next purchase"" of Field Stone - he work with me on the delivery fee. (I'm less that 2 miles away) He just chuckled and laughed and said ""No!"" \r \r Mr Bob then went on to explain how he had bad customer service with his truck -and that just how things work. \r \r Really Mr Bob? \r \r Germantown Lumber has great RR ties at the SAME price. $10.95 - And they are more pleasant and friendly. Bardon Stone (on Cherry Road) has more selection and are pleasant too - SAME PRICE and easier to get to. \r \r Shame on you Mr Bob. \r :( \r \r Poor Customer service. more

I did business with Bob's Tie Yard recently for the first time after seeing them from the interstate for years. The service was exceptional. My knowledge of stone was nil. Not only was the staff knowledgable but they went above and beyond to make sure I bought the right product for my project. I did lots of research and I am confident their prices are the best in the region. The stones were delivered within an hour of my purchase. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone needing natural stones. I plan to use them again for my next project more
