I really love Bobby bead! They have SO many tools and fun beads there. and I love getting my beads and supplies from there, because its always cheep :-) And the people that help me when I'm looking for something are ALWAYS super nice! customer service 11/17/2009

I haven't been to this store yet but today I called for info on crystal beads. The gal was extremely knowledgable (I am not)and asked plenty of questions so she could locate exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be visiting this store soon and bringing along my sister to shop. All because of the customer service offered on the phone. Congrats! more

Bobby Bead 8/30/2005

Bobby Bead has a great variety of beads in all shapes and colors; most likely you will find approximately what you were looking for. It’s a good idea to have a project in your mind already rather than going “just to look” – too much temptation to resist. The only thing is that their pricing does not seem that great to me but it’s not terrible either. Check it out yourself. more

Bobby bead is such a great place to find beads and beading supplies. They have tons of different colors, shades, sizes and shapes of beads. The beads are all priced so great, some of the best prices I have seen. Bobby beads is one of my favorite bead stores, I would recommend checking it out more

If you're into beading, Bobby Beads is the perfect place for you! Located in Minneapolis' Uptown district, this store is filled with every type of bead imaginable. They also carry a variety of beading supplies, and have books and instructions for making just about anything you could possibly make with beads. If you're crazy about beads, or are thinking about getting into beading, you should visit Bobby Bead. more

Bead Frenzy 8/15/2005

I had the fortunate experience of accompanying a friend here to one of their 40% off sales. I'm not into jewelry making myself, but it was interesting from a sociological standpoint if nothing else. Generations of women, from high school to senior citizen, were all scrambling for the delightful baubles they had had their eyes on for months. It was a joyous celebration of handicraft, alternative living, and a complete surrender to gender stereotype all rolled up in one. Oh, and the beads, as far as I could tell, were plentiful, and the selection was large, with hundreds of black trays full of bead in all sorts of sizes and materials arranged in racks and in glass cases throughout the store. more

Best Bead Shop in town 8/12/2005

I like to make jewelry, and I have to say Bobby Bead in Uptown has one of the best selections I know of in Minneapolis. You can get tubes or strings of beads of different quality, ranging from plastic/glass seed beads, to Austrian crystal and gemstone beads. They have everything you need including the string, wires, clasps, hooks, beads, how-to books, and what have you. Great selection, and not too expensive! If you like to make jewelry, you should definitely check it out. more

Are you looking for Perfect Beads 7/29/2005

Bobby Bead has more beads than any store I've ever seen. They have traditional beads, unique beads, and rare beads. They have everything you could possible want for beading ANYTHING, including all the hardware, wires, boxes, bead sorters, and more. The staff is funky and helpful. I go there all the time to find a unique piece for a project. more
