This was a great experience, from beginning to end. The facility is clean, modern, and comfortable. The people are professional, knowledgeable, and really seem to care. The work is superb. I was updated every step of the way. Everything was done in a very timely manner and true to their word. more

Bob Thomas Carstar Collision Center fixed my car after somebody rear-ended me. I took my car to Bob Thomas because my insurance company recommended them. I'm very happy with the service I received. The bumper that they replaced is a black rubber bumper, so they didn't have to paint it. They had my car in and out within two days. They did a very good job for me. I did not have to pay for the work and therefore cannot comment on the price, but the service was very good. more

Bob Thomas Carstar Collision Center did some body work on my Nissan. They were friendly, efficient, and completed the work as scheduled. They did what they said they were going to do and the work looks good. It was a pretty cut and dry experience. more

Bob Thomas Carstar Collision Center repaired a driver side door that had a dent in it. They did nice body work and a good paint job. The service was also excellent. They were very easy to deal with and the sevice was excellent. They let me know when the car was ready to pick up and even washed the car for me. more

I've never gotten my car worked on at such a helpful place! The owner was very helpful and nice, he gave me a ride after I dropped my car off and even stayed late for when it came time for me to pick it up. It was so refreshing to have a pleasant experience after a car accident. I highly recommend their services! more

Professional, courteous, and on top of everything. 5/3/2012

I was thrilled with Bob Thomas Carstar Collision Center. They were great. I cannot think of one way they could have done things better. Everything was done courteously, and they kept me up to date on everything. The job they did was spectacular. What more could they have done? I was a little frazzled because I was about to leave the country for six months, and they were really helpful. I just needed to get this done with, since I couldn't leave things hanging for others to handle, and they were just marvelous to work with. I'm not in Portland anymore, but I would recommend them to people who are like my sisters and others I know. more

I thought Bob Thomas Carstar Collision Center was just very helpful. I had some repairs done outside of what the claim would cover and they did them. They also went above and beyond to find aftermarket parts for me to help me save money, and I really appreciated that. more

I think they're tops! 9/29/2011

My experience with Bob Thomas Carstar Collision Center couldn't have gone any better! None of the issues were caused by me, but I was in a fender bender and took my car to Bob Thomas, they pointed out that my front bumper had damage too which had most likely happened at my work in the parking lot. So, they had their work cut out for them because they had to satisfy two insurance companies and me! They did more than I ever could have expected. I hope I don't have to go back anytime soon, but that's where I'd go! more

I have been familiar with the Bob Thomas Carstar for the last 30 years. I've been there a couple of times, and had good experiences. They do first class work. I have never had a problem with the work I've had done there. I haven't found anything where I needed to go back. It's a good value, and I would go back there again if I needed any body work. more

Bob Thomas Carstar Collision Center was great. I hit a parked car, called the insurance agency, and they told me that this collision center was close by. We went in to get an estimate and decided to get it fixed there. They were very professional. If they told us something would happen on a certain day, it happened that day. They also did such a good job fixing my car that we decided to bring our collectible car to get it worked on as well. more

I was in an auto accident, and my insurance company gave me a list of preferred body shops. Bob Thomas Carstar was on that list, and they offered the most convenient service. Throughout the process, they were very professional, timely and polite. Everything they said they would do, they completed satisfactorily. I was especially impressed with the person who came out to assess the damage to my vehicle. He was fantastic--very helpful and good at following up with me. All said, there was $6,500 worth of front end damage. Carstar completed the repairs beautifully, and even brought in an outside company to replace my windshield, so I didn't have to make the extra trip. It was a great experience. more
