BEWARE MISLEADING 10/8/2019

BUYER BEWARE Sept 2019 went to Bob Mills to look at massage chairs. Our salesman Dwight was very helpful. I spent 4999.00 cash on a chair but stated that I really didn't like the black, but would make it work. Dwight stated that the chair came in 4 colors if I wanted a different color, so I did. The chair was delivered, but had a defect so I refused delivery, in addition the delivery guys told me that it would not fit through my bedroom door. Spoke to a sales manager at Bob Mills, and told him I did not want a replacement, since it would not fit, I wanted a refund. A week later, Robert Twist, sales manager called to tell me that my chair was ready to deliver. I explained to him that I had requested a refund. Dwight had conveniently failed to tell me that I was special ordering the different color and I would not be able to return it or lose $2000.00. I spoke to upper management who promptly told me that I had signed the receipt for special order, but no where on the receipt does it say that I am purchasing a special order. I would not consider this company to be the "Working Mans Friend" Should your salesman be up front about your purchase terms? Should the receipt say "Special Order Item Receipt" at the top, to be plainly seen? more

Mattress Warrenty 7/10/2015

Will not stand by a 10 year warrenty used 5 years and was told spring noises not covered after sending in claim, called manufacture of mattress said they are wrong and to continue with complaint, I called again and two weeks no reply, they don't care about losing old custmers will not buy at store again not my fault, David more

defective product and bad customer service 5/12/2015

The worst customer service ever . I should have gotten the hint when I first bought the furniture, they messed up my delivery and then they never bothered to call on that till I followed up a week later. But I thought that was not a big deal. The problem is after the sale. I bought the furniture a year ago upon delivery there was two problems with it one with wood corner being scuffed and they basically touched it up the other problem is the cushion on the furniture was much higher on one side than the other. this was documented by the delivery person and was told it would be replaced since he tried to fix it but it seems that it is a defect. A year later it is not replaced. Calling does not get you anywhere i had to go in the store to get a response..after a year they tell me they don't have record of the delivery technician stating this. after arguing they decide to send someone out to see it. When the technician looked at it and took some pictures he told me that he would recommend replacement of cushions. This was two months ago have not heard anything from them. So I end up calling again requesting to speak to a manager and no one would call me back. They keep sending to customer service rep. So after giving up hope that a manager is willing to talk to me I speak to customer rep and I was shocked by what she told me that the technician report stated that the cushions are up to standard and no issues with it. The technician lied to me and my family and Bob Mills treated me very unprofessionally. One year of dealing with this I feel like they got their money and after that they do not care. I have always bought from Mathis Brothers and never had a problem like this. First and last time buying here. By the way the furniture I bought cost $3000 was supposed to be good quality and I contacted them within the manufacturer's warranty period and at delivery but they dragged this till after the warranty expired (one year manufacturer warranty). more

Wooden feet stained my carpet - tough luck! 5/13/2014

Great sales person, great price, but the feet of the furniture stained my carpet and customer service offered no relief. Manufacturer's problem, FROM CHINA OF COURSE. BUYER BEWARE more

Bought a beautiful bedroom set and have had nothing but problems.with the bed breaking, replacing the part 3 times, so they finally ordered us a whole new bed.been waiting for 4 months for all the parts to come in for the bedbed to be delivered. Keep getting the run around, on the bed. I have had multiple calls in the last 4 months confirming delivery ,in which i have never set up a delivery.they get to looking and only part of the bed pieces are in, so i get an estimated day when it will be in, then when i call to check on it, it's been pushed out another month. I even had one person confirm all the parts were in so i set up delivery, never got a call for delivery time so when i called to check, they didn't have me down for delivery, then when i inquired about all the parts, they supposedly aren't due to come in until next month.no one knows what's going on.my bed is up on a cinder block, this is ridiculous!i will never buy from them again! I just want my money back and they can come get my bedroom set.A huge mess I've been dealing with for months! more

I wasn't going to write this review , but I have to chuckle everytime I see the commercial about Bob Mills and the " no stalking shopping " . I can tell you from my husband's and my experience that couldn't be furthur from the truth. We were going to look for a headboard for our bed. Just wanted to look see if anything caught our eye. We walk in the door and they were like vultures. They asked us what we were looking for and we told him multiple time's that we just wanted to look. He continued to follow us and would not leave us alone. Everytime I asked my husband a question this man would jump in and answer. We could'nt even talk between ourselves for the fact that the salesman kept butting into our conversation. I finally walked off by myself to get away from him. I told my husband that I was done and that I wanted to leave. The problem was they had a bedroom set that we really liked. We did leave and went to another store close by , but their prices were a lot higher and the quality wasn't as good. I knew my husband really like the one at Bob Mills so we decided to just go back and get it. Of coarse we walk in and the vultures attack again. We wanted to just look at the bedroom set again to make sure this is what we wanted. And here come's the annoying salesman again. I didn't want to give them a single penny of our money , but my husband really liked this set. I thought the way the salesman followed us around , interupted our conversation multiple times was very rude. I think that they need to listen to the customer. We didn't come to the store to be harassed and that was exactly how we felt. But our furniture was delivered and we love it. Will we ever go back to the store. No we will not. But I will give them the fact that the furniture quality is amazing and they did make things right when there was a problem after it was delivered. A couple of pieces were scratched and they did everything to make it right and we were very happy with that. more

Our experience shopping with Robert Roberts, he listened to our needs & was helpful suggesting we get core pieces. He had us sold on the burgandy leather couch and loveseat but our time was limited & we told hin were going to return the next day to purchase it from him. We said goodby & then we did one last walk around when Debbie approached us saying she overheard us with Robert &started talking design. We saw a recliner & started discussing a chair with her & possible fabric choices. We walked pass the couch & loveseat again & decided we would just go ahead and buy it. more

We had a very good experience. Our sales person was very nice and helpful. Arrangements for delivery on Monday (a holiday) worked out perfectly and they called in the morning to let us know when to expect them. The piece of furniture we went in to look for works beautifully with our other furniture and the decorative item that we found in the store (but weren't looking for) also looks beautiful with our other new furniture. However, we would not have purchased a bedroom suite from you because most of your styles were too colonial/plain for the romantic ambiance we wanted in the bedroom. Thanks for helping more

I had been to several other furniture stores and knew what I was looking for. I do not like to be hounded by many salespeople the minute I walk in the door. I was greeted by one young man who asked me if he could help. He did not use high pressure sales and I appreciated it. more

"Great!!!! I had gone to two other stores before I came to Bob Mills. I wanted a new table and chairs. I should have came to your store first. I usually end up buying there anyway. I found a beautiful table and we are so pleased. It fits our room perfectly. I called back to the store after I had purchased it and asked Jerry Jo to measure the table for me. She quickly measured it and gave me the measurements over the phone. It is here and makes our room so beautiful. Two of the chair cushions were messed up. You promptly brought out two other chairs. Thanks for the great stuff.| more
