My husband and I recently used BNC National Bank to purchase a new home. We were fortunate enough to work with Steve Justice on our loan. We had done some investigating online regarding the purchase of our home, what our payments might be, etc. Next thing we know, our phone rang and it was Steve making a cold call on us. He spent over an hour with my husband getting details on our situation and he got our loan process started immediately. He worked hard for us - keeping in touch pretty much every day and working late to make sure everything was done correctly the first time and done in a timely fashion. The process was smooth and without any problems due to Steve's hard work and dedication. We have recommended Steve to many of our friends and we hope that they will use BNC and work with Steve if and when they have any kind of mortgage issues. Thank you Steve!! BNC Bank had good reviews on LendingTree so we decided to use them. After signing up to do business with them, my husband and I came across some ‘not so positive’ reviews on City Search. I was extremely concerned, particularly with the reviews “Be Cautious” and “Predatory Lender”. A few hours before reading these reviews, I was desperately trying to reach the loan officer Casey, with whom we began to work to no avail. I began to get an uncomfortable feeling in the pit of my stomach. When I was finally able to reach Casey, I brought the reviews to his attention and explained my fears of doing business with them because of those reviews. He quickly allayed my fears by explaining their process and even provided me his cell phone contact information. We locked in at a reasonable rate. Casey took several conference calls with us where he answered all our questions with patience and satisfaction. He was quick in responding to emails and phone messages. Moreover, his professionalism and pleasant demeanor took the stress out of the process. The bank pulled everything together in a record 25 days as promised. However, we did not close until a couple weeks later due to the sellers need to remain in the apartment while their new home was being renovated. BNC came through for us with numbers estimated very close to the final closing numbers -- there were no surprises there. Overall, we were very pleased with BNC National bank, and will definitely use them again. more

I am recently doing my mortgage refinance with BNC national bank and very satisfy with their service especially my loan agent, John Brown. He is able to response to me fast, honest and professionally to all my question. All the loan documents were sent to me very fast and without mistake. At the end, I didn't close my loan and my rate period was expired due to my personal reason. However, I will highly recommend John Brown to anyone that looking for refinance. more

I just read the post titled, ""Predatory Lender"". This story is unfotunate for the writer, and for me as I've had a similar experience. My agent, Kurt Polzner, had 40 days to get my refi approved. He offered several assurances and was quick to return calls before I sent him all my financial information. But once I sent him what was requested I almost never heard from him. At the final hour, like the previous post suggests, he tried to increase the fees by almost 200%. Yikes. Luckily I'm not desperate and can go elsewhere . . . and rates are even lower now. But, be cautious who you choose to work with. more
