Dr. John Sweeney & his dental hygenist were spectacular in their "patient analysis"...I appreciate their pacing...my blood pressure seemed elevated a bit & they were so very patient to deal with my anxiety...more than anything, I respect & revere their knowledge of dentistry & their expertise in explaining the basics of "what needs doing!" I applaud the "welcomeness" and "joyfulness" of their practice! My husband was waiting for me, and the receptionist continued to let him know how I was progressing with my "tooth extraction"...she let him know that it would be okay for him to leave for a short time to get a bite to eat...I truly appreciate that my husband was informed of the dental situation! THANKS SO MUCH BLUE WAVE DENTISTRY!!! more

I have had some horrible experiences at dentists offices in the Cape Fear Area. They have told me I have no pain tolerance when they didn't numb the area correctly. I have also had people expect surprise payments and then embarass me when I didn't come up with hundreds of dollars. Bluewave is so great because the docs are incredibly skilled, patient, and caring and because the staff is awesome. I love everyone from the office staff to the hygenists. (and that says a lot considering what I had done!) Keep up the amazing work, BlueWave! I send my parents to you, bring my son, and have referred many friends. more

Most difficult tooth, most excellent experience! 9/30/2011

Some teeth are easy to work on, some are not. My last visit involved one that is not anywhere near easy! I was told what would happen, how it would happen, how long it would take and what to expect after the procedure. Was it fun? No, but it not awful and I had no pain during the process. I cannot wait to see them again! more

Semi-annual cleaning 9/27/2011

As always, prompt, courteous and thorough service. Megan is always gentle and caring as she performs each task. The entire practice has a great culture which puts the patient first. As a business I believe that winners use the best technology and this office is equipped with the latest. The mini camera was new to me and really cool. The office is well ahead of many I have experienced over the years. more

I was extremely happy with my experience. Dr. Biggerstaff was kind, friendly and most importantly made me extremely comfortable. The whole staff was terrific. I went to another local dentist last year acroos the street in Waterford and had several problems; they lost my initial paperwork, they did not get a pre-quote as promised, and when I had an issue w/ work done tried to recharge me for the same service. That would never happen here I can tell, they are TOP NOTCH! more
