Blue Willow Lounge

THe customer service especially by the owner was horrible. it is a nice little neighborhood bar with ok food. I went there one night wanting wings and after asking the bartender if they do all the flats and was told yes i ordered some.30-40 minutes later i was approached with my food by the owner who proceeds to tell me she couldnt do my request and i had a mixture. I informed her i had come here instead of quaker steak and wanted wings but could not eat the other kind , i let her know that she was leaving me with not many options due to the fact i had waited there so long and now she is bringing all the food out. she was not apologetic and simply said ""she did not have time to come out and inform me when she got the order"" she gave me the option of getting something else which would take another 20 and was not what i had purposely gone out to eat for or getting 6 of the kind i ordered for a few dollars less than the entire amount of 12.(not a good value compared to the whole amount) I continued to try to explain my situation and she again could care less and repeated she did not have time to tell me (mind you the bar is all of 6 tables big) to me this says she does not care about the happiness of her customers or her product.I have been happy with the bar until now. For me i can not see spending my money in a place where the owner is so care less about how her customers are handled and gives such horrible customer service. Will not be spending my hard earned money at this place after how carelessly i was treated. more

The first thing one notices when entering the Blue Willow Lounge is the ambiance. It's as if the guest is transported to another time and place, into some Moroccan dreamworld. The lighting is just right, and the tasteful, timeless decor is elegant and playful at the same time. The aromas that fill the air here are nothing short of transcendent, and the sophisticated staff are more like guides that gently assist you through this ethereal wisp of elevated nirvana. \r The artfully presented emerald green vessel that held my extra pale beverage of choice was glistening with condensation, like so many tears from an arctic dragon, and the provocative flair with which it was delivered was an absolute delight. \r I've never tried the food, but my cousin Bill said that it was really, really good. Pros: great wine list, excellent chef, wonderful staff! Cons: None! more
