Blue Willow Inn 2/5/2010

We just came home from Social Circle where we had our anniversary dinner. It was the best dinner we have ever had at a restaurant. Everyone was very cordial and helpful. I would encourage anyone to go and try it.We thought that they must have some very good cooks there. The food was not the typical restaurant food. It was like home cooking at its best. more

Horrible Food & Rude Hostess 12/22/06 12/22/2006

I just got back from my vacation in Atlanta, after reading reviews that Blue Willow was one of the best Southern restaurants, i decided to drive more than 50+ miles to Blue Willow...upon arrival, I encountered a receptionist who was very rude (an old lady w/ short hair) and was even more disappointed when I tried the food- extremely plain, boring, & bland plus the selection was extremely limited-- main dishes were just roast beef, fried chicken & fish(which was NOT fresh), vegetables that were tasteless and a salad bar, soup sucked as well. In fairness, the desserts were delicious. But it was not worth the trip AT ALL. Waay over rated-- best way to describe the food at Blue willow is it's akin to hospital food! more

The Blue Willow Inn Restaurant is one of the most beautiful places to eat in the southern states. Located in the historic town of Social Circle, Georgia it is as charming as it is treasured by local residents. The restaurant is in an old plantation style home. Each dinning room is like taking a step back in time to the old south. The cuisine is simply the best down home southern cooking you can find. Anyone living in the area or just passing through should stop in and have themselves a plate or two at the Blue Willow. more
