It's now called Blu Que Island Grill, and it's better than ever! All you can eat king crab on Fridays and all you can eat lobster on Saturdays- yummy. And the key lime cloud dessert is to die for :D more

now we r talking finally a real restaurant on siesta 12/22/2010

we have come back every week since moving to siesta key... the bands they feature are very very good. music for everyone... im a beer drinker myself and i had a sam adams bottle frosty as can be for $3,,, what yep,,, and they informed me they also offer guiness for $3... and newcastle... my wife had one rita for $4 and then a sangria for also $4... anyway best place to eat by far so glad we found it.. especially when blues band night comes around . fantastic atmosphere.... more

Great food, great atmosphere 12/22/2010

My husband and I both love this restaurant. Not only is it a great atmosphere, such a pretty, fun , place, the food and service are great. We live in Bradenton, and this is one of the few places we will trek to Sarasota to eat at. The ribs are great, the stew is perfect each time, and we love the chips and blue cheese cole slaw. A ""dont miss"" place to eat. more

Blu Cheese Chips are awesome! 12/19/2010

Finally got there yesterday for the first time and tried a little bit of everything and it was all awesome! The Blu Cheese Chips are really original and combine 3 things I love most, chips, blue cheese, and balsalmic vinegar. We also had a sampler platter of BBQ with chicken, brisket, and pulled pork. They were all super yummy but my husband liked the brisket the best. For dinner we split a Kobe Beef Burger and trust me after all the appetizers one burger between the two of us was all we could eat. It was excellent and if you've never had one you should definitely try it here. Our server was great and super friendly and of course you can't beat the all day $3 beers! We absolutely LOVED this place and since we live here we will be going back often! more
