DOES NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE\r \r This company is very shady just like the owner. My mom paid them half ($2500.00) upfront for a porch that they never built. They got the money in March 2012 and still no porch. The owner doesn't even call you back or even give back the money he owes my mom. BBB can t do anything about it. If anyone is reading this, don t do business with them and tell your friends about this shady company. Any good reviews about this company is probably written by the company itself. Here is a tip for the company and Bruce.......returned the money you owe to the people you stole from. I will be writing bad reviews about your company till you make right to those you did wrong. Any good reviews about this company is probably written by the people who works at the company to missed lead people.Don't fall for it. They got a D- by the BBB and have many complaints which they would not respond to. Bruce, you stole money from him and other people on purpose, no wonder they are mad. This company is far from perfect till it refunds the money they stole to the people they stole from. If you want to respond Bruce...do it on facebook. more

Bruce and the guys at Blue Skye did a oustanding job on our pool enclosure. A tree fell on the side and top so we contracted them to take the old one down and install a new one . They were clean with the take down and the install was the next day . Thanks again Blue skye more

I heard about Blue Skye screening because they did 4 other people in our neighborhood. We just moved into our development and wanted to add a screen room. We already had 2 other estimates but called them for a 3rd. I truly liked the fact that the actual owner of the company Bruce came out to give our estimate and not a salesman working on commissions. He was very thorough and took a lot of time to explain the job we were wanting done. We did wind up getting a 4th estimate from another company. On that note I want to tell you that 4th company drug Blue Sky through the mud. I am in sales myself, however, the tactics this salesman was using against Blue Sky was shocking at best. We signed with Blue Sky end of March. There were a few bumps and a few delays due to weather, and just simply because this is construction. All in all I had the very same experience as all 4 of my neighbors, Fantastic! They do good clean work and Bruce was on the job twice!!! What owner does that now a days. Bravo Bruce and your entire team!! Great job my man! more

Blue Skye was great for us . Eddie actually answered the phone which was a big difference from others not even returning my call . Bruce came out and gave us the estimate . They were not the lowest but he did match the lowest so we signed . Earnie and Bruce did our patio and did a great job . We would recommend them to anyone more

We gave our deposit in November of 2011. Still waiting on the refund of our deposit. It has been 2 months since it was supposed to be in the mail. Several texts, calls and e-mails and still nothing.. Time for small claims court. Paperwork will be filed next week. I promise and am true to my word. Next time I will check out the BBB before trusting someone. Apres.. You are right on the money with your review.. We have been promised by Bruce that ""Kim"" his wife will send our deposit. That was in the beginning of March it is now May. Apres if you want to go to small claims with me Please leave a note. Bruce told me to stop texting him and does not respond to any communication, so I guess court is the only action left.\r \r Buyers please check all reviews.. BBB and other sources prior to signng a contract with anyone. Google everything possible. more

We strive to be our best at every aspect of any project . Not sure who this individual is but if we did anything to make them feel that way we surely did not mean too. No company is perfect as we have had our bumps but we always provide a quality project at a fair price . more

I signed my Screen Room contract over 2 months ago with Blue Skye, the reason i went with them is because they were slightly less expensive than 2 of their competitors, i thought i would be saving a few bucks by going with them. They said it would take about 2 weeks to have my job completed. Well today has been week number 11 and they haven't even poured the concrete! They took my money and now they do not have money to BUY the materials so i have to wait until they sell more jobs so they have these other peoples deposits in order to purchase the materials for my job! this is ABSOLUTELY A DISGRACE!! My neighbor signed a contract with their competitor three weeks ago and she already has her screen room up. LISTEN TO BE LEARNED.... EVEN THOUGH SOMEONE IS CHEAPER IT PROBABLY ISN'T ALWAYS THE BEST REASON TO GO WITH THEM!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU DO NOT MIND WAITING MORE THAN 3 MONTHS TO HAVE YOUR SIMPLE JOB DONE!!!!! more

Bruce and the guys at lue Skye did a wonderful job on our screen patio and paver deck. The price was affordable and work was clean and on time . We would send them to all our family and friends. more

This group may have been good at one point but the job they did in Jacksonville was AWFUL. It took over a year to get an inspection to pass. The owner Bruce was completely unresponsive. The job was allegedly completed in summer of 2010 but after two failed inspections, missing windows, non-returned phone calls, and complete stress an aggravation the modifications required by inspectors had to be done by the homeowner and finally passed. No thanks to anyone at Blue Skye. I wouldn't recommend using them EVER. It made a room that was supposed to be an exciting addition to a home a source of stress and anxiety, more

I hired Blue Skye Screening to build a sunroom addition to my home in March 2010. Over one year and two failed inspections later, the owner refuses to finish the job. After being paid in full in June of 2010, he stopped returning my phone calls for weeks at a time, before finally scheduling an inspection in September, which then failed. He subsequently removed a window from the room in November in order to replace the glass, and left us with a gaping hole. He was supposedly going to bring it back in a few weeks, which turned into months. He claimed to have brought it to the window manufacturer and it was waiting on them. Well I finally called that company and found he never even brought it in. So one day I come home from work and find the window was put back, no repair made. After several more months of no returned phone calls, I had to resort to having an attorney contact him. He finally responded after this and scheduled another inspection in March, which also failed since he only completed one of the necessary repairs. Again, no return phone calls. I finally had to complete the job myself, at my own expense, in order to get the room to pass inspection. I have spent countless hours and missed time from work dealing with this horrible situation and have not been able to enjoy the room I paid for. I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy. more

Blue skye was very profesional and curtious. They explained the whole process and called with updates every other day or so. They built a 15 by 40 glass sunroom with block and stucco to match . It turned out better than we could even imagine. Other companies came in and one for sure you could tell was just there for the sale. Blue skye is the best around. Pros: very professional curtious and price Cons: none at all more
