My mistake was I did not do enough research on Bruce & Blue Skye Screening and not having an attorney look at the back of the contract .Bruce's License on the State website and viewing all the Citations filed, the Fines issued, forced Education and Probation issued by the State of Florida. I did not do enough research, I would have also found out he was part of a local TV action report about defrauding multiple consumers in 2015. Blue Skye Screening breached the contract in violation of FL Statutes 489.126 that states they have 30 days to make application for permitting after taking my $7600.00 deposit on 8/24/21, It took them 35 days before making application on 9/29/21. County Date Stamps don't lie, and Blue Skye Screening also illegally notarized my signature on the NOC and recorded it Lake County Clerk of Court. After permit was received, we all agreed that Blue Skye Screening did not have a qualified subcontractor to do the large concrete job involved. I paid $11,000.00 out of pocket for the concrete. Blue Skye Screening then called Lake County to inspect the Slab & Footer and it passed 12/6/21. Blue Skye Screening voided the 1st contract at that time. Blue Skye Screening then on 12/16/21 sent a new contract requiring me to pay $9,100.00 to move forward that I refused to sign as I would have paid them $16,700.00 with no onsite material or physical worked performed. They terminated the contract on 1/27/22 and did not mention my deposit at all, they planned on keeping it all. I was forcing to take Blue Skye Screening to Small claims court. The case is still open with Lake County at this time, On the back of the contract, small print that all deposit disputes to go through Arbitration and that is very costly. Blue Skye Screening had been investigated in the past by a local Action investigative team and found that they were in disputes with multiple other consumers. I wish I would have done more due diligence and not hired Blue Skye Screening. I am requesting the return of my deposit of $7600.00 that I paid
