DON'T GO HERE! 9/8/2008

The place was filthy and smelly. The floor was so dirty I made every effort to keep my feet on the mat throughout the entire class. I took two classes there one night and was also very disappointed in the instructors. You could tell they weren't experienced teachers -- not seasoned at all. I thought the studio was a perfect example of 'you get what you pay for'. If you're looking for good yoga instruction I'd urge you to check out other places. There are studios WAY BETTER than this one! Cons: dirty. inexperienced instructors more

Best Yoga 5/27/2008

I have been to several Yoga studios in Vegas, and Blue Sky is by far the best in terms of instructors, location, and the class schedule. Being able to take time out of my busy work day and practice yoga on my lunch hour is an incredible way to stay focused and balanced. Cheryl is an amazing person and instructor, in fact all of the instructors are better than any I have taken classes from at various studios in Vegas. In addition to offering yoga instruction, Blue Sky hosts various events featuring interesting speakers. Blue Sky is more than a yoga studio, it's a place where one can experience a sense of community, which is refreshing in Las Vegas! Pros: Best Yoga in Vegas Cons: Simply cannot attend every event I would like to more

Best yoga studio in Las Vegas, affordable, and appropriate for all ages and abilities 5/24/2008

Cheryl is a dedicated yoga teacher. While teaching, she quickly establishes a strong connection with her audience and conducts her classes that are just perfect for who she has. Although she has many years of experiences in teaching yoga, she takes up every opportunity to grow further. Her training, experience and warm personality make her one of the best yoga teachers and Blue Sky Yoga one of the best yoga studios in Las Vegas. Pros: Most affordable, small classes, individual attention more

Absolutely Great! 5/21/2008

This is an amazing studio because it is geared towards everyone. I've been practicing regularly for several years but never hesitiate to bring my 60 year old dad to any class here. Each instuctor is respectful of limits and mindfully guides students at any level. Cheryl and Michele are my personal favorites. Since it is a donation-based studio and is located in what is probably Vegas' most creative building, there is no reason NOT to come here if you are at all inclined towards yoga. more

Blue Sky Makes Me Happy 5/21/2008

Blue Sky was my first experience with yoga, and no other studio has been able to compare. The people are friendly and have a great deal of experience. Each caring teacher gives modifications and hands-on guidance to ensure you have the very best experience possible! It is obvious that these dedicated yoga instructors come to class to give you a healing, strengthening experience, mentally and physically. The feeling at this studio is SO much better than corporation classes. Blue Sky has literally improved the quality of my life. Pros: Small class sizes, personalized instruction, caring and knowledgable teachers devoted to their practice, donation based, art gallery location, cool people Cons: - more

What yoga is. Absolute best in Vegas. 5/21/2008

I've been to many yoga studios in Las Vegas and several other parts of the world and Cheryl's classes are second to none. My wife has to push me sometimes to get me to class, but I'm floating when we leave. I'm getting ready for a mid-afternoon class right now. I can't wait! Yoga is more than stretching. I learned this at Blue Sky. The location is perfect. Surrounded by local art since the studio doubles as an art studio exhibiting during First Friday. At First Friday you can find original paintings, glass and jewelry by some of the best local artists. I drive past three other yoga studios and one ""hot"" yoga facility in order to study at Blue Sky. I highly recommend regularly visiting Blue Sky. Pros: Teacher is the best. Hands on corrections. Absolute best. Cons: Not having enough of my time to go more than I already do. more

The place to go for yoga 5/20/2008

The studio has a special air about it. The room is beautifully decorated with art that changes monthly. The variety and styles of yoga they offer is fun and refreshing. The teachers are also excellent. They each have their own flair. I am grateful for having a studio that is donation based. The energy is just different. They truly do embrace the idea of sharing and unification. more
