Blue Sky Tanning

Ok, I have tanned here for 5 or more years and I have NEVER had any problems with the MysticTan!!! In fact, the mystic tan here looks like a natural tan and sprays very evenly. It is so easy to use, not rocket science, you just stand on the provided foot pad markers and when you are ready push the button and the machine mists you for a few seconds, then you turn around and it mists you again. So easy and looks fantastic! The best thing about this machine is that it is done privately, so you dont have to worry about anyone seeing your ""goods"". I have used the mystic tan at least on five different occasions over the period of maybe three years or whenever they got the machine, anyways no problems ever. \r \r Ok, so I normally go here to tan in the tanning bed and they are always clean. So i just moved to snellville from atlanta and i went to blue sky tanning to sign up for a mystic tan membership. i have been getting a spray tan about once a week at another tanner in buckhead and i have never had any problem with the mystic tan. i purchased a $100 package to allow me 5 sessions in the booth. the girl at the desk showed me to the room and told me to push the button when i was ready and that was all i had to do. once i was undressed and inside the booth, i realized the tanner was different in several ways from the one i am used to. the one i am used to has automated instructions and foot plates that tell you where to stand and how to stand and when to rotate and has a nozzle that moves up and down. the one at blue sky has one nozzle that sprays in a up and down motion and no instruction posted on the wal land no audible instructions. so i get in and press the button and this cold liquid starts shooting out all in my face then stops and starts again. i did not mist me, it squirted me. i got out of the booth and looked in the mirror to see that i had brown streaks of tanner dripping down my body. i wiped off and put my clothes on not knowing what to expect. i expressed my concern to the girl at the counter who then told me she had never used the mystic and didnt really know what to tell me so i asked her to call a manger and she did. so the manager asked me if i wiped off the excess liquid and then told me it would be fine and to come back tomorrow if my tan was uneven. well i wake up the next morning looking like i just jumped out of a mud puddle with streaks and spots and splotches all over my body. i had to go to work so i called the salon and asked the girl to have a manager call me because i was horrified with the results. no one ever called so i went to the salon when i got off of work. the girl there called the owner and put me on the phone with her. i told her the story and asked for a refund and any suggestions on how to get the spray tan off. she told me i was the only one that had ever been unsatisfied and she would not give me a refund because i must have done something wrong and she wasnt responsible. she asked me if anyone showed me an instruction video or told me what to do and i told her no. so after going back and forth with this woman on the phone about her employee being incompetant and not instructing me at all she told me that she would not refund the money because i told the girl i had had a spray tan before so it was all my fault. so basically im out $100 and i look like ive been rolling around in the dirt. the owner was very rude and not at all interested in appeasing me or making it right. i just could not believe her refiusal to give me a refund. she must be hard up for that money because she didnt give a crap about retaining a potential customer. i am outraged and i will not be throwing away any more money at blue sky tanning. dont give this woman your money and expect good customer service. theyre not going to take good care of you here. more
