If I could give this place zero stars I would. I've gone here because of convenience and being that my dog was the first pet I owned, I didn't realize that it was different other places. Every time I went in they tried to guilt me into services that my dog didn't even need. I blew it off thinking that I would be able to read between the lines and fend them off. Recently my dog became very ill and it was very difficult to read between the lines when I was grieving for him. They tried to guilt me into $300 of testing and as it turned out in the end he only actually had needed $180 worth. I had to beg the assistant to tell me what he actually needed and did not. The vet spent an hour after the testing telling me everything that was NOT wrong with my dog and then told me that he had kidney failure at the end of his tirade. He then proceeded to tell me what he would do if my dog was a human. He's a dog not a human!! I was so heart broken and I felt so helpless. They wanted a long drawn out more

I have a kitten and she is my first pet ever. I bought her from the Humane Society. One of the clinics on their list of where to bring your pet for an immediate wellness check was Blue Sky. I was able to get in quickly and the staff was very good with me and my kitten. I returned for all of her shots and each time I went back Dr. Mormile was very thorough and took time to answer what were probably silly questions. I took her back to have her declawed and when I picked her up I could hardly tell that she had had any surgery. I was very pleased and I would definitely recommend Blue Sky to others. more

Pros: Nice staff, including doctors. Very thorough exams. Will get you in quickly for new symptoms/problems with your pet!\r Cons: Expensive- usually spent over $250 every visit no matter the reason for the visit. \r Initially refused to give my dog more than doggie advil after a spay (would YOU take only Advil after a hysterectomy?). When I got upset, the vet relented. Any vet who says "animals process pain different than humans", to me means it is time to get a new vet. Recent (and past) research backs this! NO excuse for undertreating pain after surgery! PAIN is PAIN!\r \r FYI: This clinic, like most vet clinics, does not have staffing 24 hours a day. Just something to keep in mind if your pet has surgery, and they request to keep your pet there overnite. The vast majority of pets do fine, but I personally worry about bleeding that no one may catch right away because the pet is not being watched at all times. After visiting our usual vet three times our pet was still showing no improvement. My sister recommended we take our little dog to the vet at Blue Sky. They did a more testing, including an ultrasound, and found the cause of Missy's problems. We are so happy to find a vet who who wanted our dog to get to get well as much as we did! \r Everyone is the clinic was super nice and took very good care of Missy while she was there. They called us several times to check on her after she came home! We have found the vet for us! more

They were so nice to my dog and cat. Both my pets were very comfortable with the doctor. They have a separate waiting area for both and brought the scale into the room so my cat could stay in her pet taxi. Pros: Very easy to get to. Nice parking. Open til 7 PM more

They were very caring and helpful with our cat. Great customer service and even called to check on him after we got home to make sure he was doing fine. The staff seemed very caring and gentle with all the animals there and really seemed to have compassion for the animals they care for. more
