I've been taking my three-to-four cars to Blue Ribbon for years (smog checks, oil changes, etc.). Oil changes are getting too expensive. But that is nothing compared to Blue Ribbo...

Hey Lucky K ... You should be ashamed of yourself for writing such hateful things about Blue Ribbon & Mike. I've been taking my car there for years & Mike is the main reason I keep going back. He goes out of his way to explain things & has always been friendly & professional. I have recommended Blue Ribbon to numerous friends & have NEVER had one of them come away disappointed. Something tells me you've had a bad experience with automotive repairs in the past & just have a bad attitude towards the industry in general. You should really take a minute & think about what you put out there on the internet in a moment of anger. It's not very pretty. more

*ATTENTION - CONSUMER BEWARE!\r Don't let the friendly staff and nice atmosphere foul you. I've recently went here for A.C service for $34.99 @ 1:30pm and was told that the job would be finished after 3:00pm. So 4:45 pm comes along and I get a call from MIKE that he would need another 30 min. of Labor ($44.75) to fully inspect the problem, I agreed. Little did I know they close @ 5:00pm. They kept my car overnight w/out notifying me so I show up to the shop at 6:00pm to find it closed! So how can they charge me 30 min. of extra Labor when they don't have 30 mins. to work on it? This is unprofessional and questionable and my instincts tell me something is not right. I call the next morning abort the job, MIKE rudely says fine but he's going to charge me another 45 mins. of Labor just to put the Battery back in. Really; 45 mins. of Labor just for that plus the 30 mins. of Labor that never happened. To sum everything up I had to pay $132.61 for them to take my battery out and put m more

Taken advantage of!! Dont Smog Here 12/22/2009

DO not go here and get smogged. I was told if service Engine light on its an Auto fail After they ran smog and I was billed. They knew it would Fail and ran through smog anyway just to get money. Plus if i bring back they said they will charge again!!! Thats over 100.00 for a SMOG!!! They should tell it will not pass when they see Engine light on. I even told them the light was on!!! Dbl charge and nothing done to car!!! Horrible Service Not honest up front only care about making money. Go somewhere where you dont pay till it passes!!! Notice how They Double post same thing just to get high Reviews... Dishonest Pros: none Cons: Dishonest more

This place is awesome! The service is great, the people are wonderful, and the prices are extremely fair. Chip Carrol (The Owner) is amazing. I would recommend this place to any and everyone. more

one of my cars AC was going out and I brought to Blue Ribbon, it is family owned and Chip the owner is real nice gave a great price, and had the car done in a couple hours. I was so impressed with the service I had my sisters car towed there the same day. A++ more
