Blue Nile is a hidden gem, tucked in back of a short strip mall in the Village, but well worth finding. It's Middle Eastern food at its best; I've only tried the vegetarian choices, but all have been excellent. I'm especially fond of the falafel (right at the top of my "best falafel" list) -- crispy outside, moist inside, very flavorful -- and their cucumber-tomato salad with lemon dressing, but as I said, everything we've tried has been very good.
Parking is possibly an issue because it's the Village but there are a few reserved-for-patrons spots by the restaurant. We've never had to park more than half a block away. And I'd walk quite a bit further to eat there -- although I now live in the Northwest with access to some terrific restaurants, I'll be happy to eat at Blue Nile any time I'm in the Lafayette area.
