This is a great place to grab a good taco downstairs and get you dance on upstairs as the Dj spins some kind beats. There are nice sofas to kick it on and cute girls working the bar area. The Blue Monkey is a late 20something early 30 something bar lounge. The layout is really nice and the music mix tends to be 80's, 90's, with some new stuff mixed in. The atmosphere is pretty cool with plenty of sofa's and couches around to kick back on. It's done in such away that you feel like you're going to a house party at a really nice home. The drink service is a bit good though it is on the pricey side compared to other places. The one major complaint that I have is that this place has only 1 bathroom. Not 1 for men and 1 for women, just 1. For a place that can hold 100+, there is no reason to have only 1 bathroom. I can't recommend this place until they get more bathrooms. THe thing that struck me was how good the tacos at the bar are. I have been to mexico for vacation and these babies are just as good. The Monkey is a cool place to lounge, dance, drink, and eat some of the best tasting tacos in town. My girlfriend and I relly loved this place and we occasionally drop in for a drink and some tacos. The best part is that there is no cover every time we have gone into the Monkey. Pros: Tacos, NO Cover, Cool Vibe Cons: Occasionaly crowded, Small Bathroom, hard to find more

The Blue Monkey combines intimate and cozy with fun and energy. The downstairs has some TV's and a small bar where you can get your own drinks. Take the strong drinks upstairs to the lounge\dancefloor area to enjoy them. Upstairs is filled with couches and zenlike art with a dark, low ceiling and is fully carpeted. There is always a DJ spinning some form of house, usually at a danceable 90-120 bpm rate. The crowd averages late 20's to early 30's. This is not the place to go to flaunt designer duds. But don't wear your jeans and sneakers, either. There is usually a server that will bring your drinks up the stairs for you if you don't want to get them yourself. more

This is a really cool spot in San Ho. It has a bar downstairs and a lounge-type room upstairs with couches and a small dancefloor. So you can chill and drink downstairs or go upstairs and get wild.
