Great lobsterr rolls 8/2/2011

Stopped by finally after 2 years of living in this area. Been wanting a lobster roll for a while now and thought i would give this place a shot. Have to give credit to whoever does the gardening outside the flowers are GEORGEOUS!!!! Anyway enough about my flower fascination, i went inside was very impressed by the cleanliness, and service for such a small mom and pop place. The lobster roll was great and next time i will have to try the wholebellies because they are very hard to find in this area. more

Went there for lunch one day after many years of wanting to stop in. I could only compare the food to beachside grill fare. The ""homemade"" clam chowder had no clams in it, not a bad taste but alittle too floury for me and I kept looking for any hints of clams. The fish in the fish and chips was ok, french fries were doughy and tasteless. And forget about the lobster roll, very very skimpy on the meat, roll too greasy. I was so hoping that the quality of the food could be better esp since the location and decor of this place does not help.But off to the shore once again for my lobster and fish! I wouldn't mind paying abit more if the food quality and quantity was present. Or if the decor and ambiance stood out. more

Not Worth It! 6/22/2011

Not impressed! Went for lunch. Ordered Lobster Roll w/ Fries. BARELY any lobster in the roll. Way to much butter on roll and on the lobster that I could not taste anything but butter! Was charged for Lobster and Chips and french frys. I get that the menu says with chips but if I am going sub, than take some off a full order of frys or give me the chips that I also paid for. Sad, heard such good things... maybe another place that got too big or greedy for its britches?!?! more

BEST LOBSTER ROLL 10/27/2008

Excellent place, save the drive to the shore, chowders homade daily. Great service. You can bring your own wine or beer. I had the lobster roll with bisque. The food and bisque was great. Would highly recommend to anyone, very relaxed atmosphere. A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++= more

Best Lobster Roll! 9/6/2008

I don't know what the other review must have come from, but Blue Lobster is the best place for lobster rolls in the state hands down! The employees are always very pleasant and the food is amazing. I recommend this to anyone who wants to stop in and grab a bite to eat. It's not a fancy place at all, just a seafood place you'd more likely find on the shore than in the middle of the Berlin Turnpike! more

Lumpy flour bisque, poor food quality control and worse management. 8/30/2008

Lobster spoiled and manager insisted we did not know how to value seafood. Bisque mostly flower, lobster likely had seen better days. In retrospect if, a big if the food was even adequate the (upper end) price did not justify the plastic knife & fork, and eating the onion rings with placing the ketchup on a napkin.
