Patio Not Dog Friendly 4/6/2011

On May 28, 2008 the Dallas City Council amended section 17-10.2 of the Chapter 17 Dallas City Code, “the Dog Variance Ordinance” subsequently passed on January 24, 2007. This ordinance provides a variance process and establishes criteria to allow dogs on restaurant patios under certain conditions. In the case of my dog, he was a "therapy Service Dog" which by law are allowed in restaurants. We requested seating on the patio and were asked to leave without explanation. The wait staff was rude and demanded that we leave. more

Have been a long time friend of the Glue Boose....I go for the drinks and company, but it has definately changed. I give it a 3 for the personnel, bartenders/ staff...not manager or owners! more

Consistently Awesome Food 2/12/2009

I have been a patron of the Blue Goose for years now at various locations. My favorite at the moment is the Highland Village location with lots of shopping close by. My faves are the nachos, chicken tamales, fajitas and beef enchiladas. Love the fresh, hot, soft flour tortillas and wonderful hot sauce paired with crispy chips. The ice tea is strong and fresh. The sopapillas are so good. Will continue to visit the Blue Goose again and again! Pros: Great Tex Mex Cons: Minimum parking at the Greenville location more

Yummy Food, Good Service. 8/11/2008

I wasn't expecting the service to be all that great considering it's Lower Greenville, but this place was awesome. My drink was always filled. It was full on a sunday afternoon guess that's why I was suprised. The food was awesome, especially the brisket queso.. to die for. I have to say the food travels well. Of course I got full on the brisket queso and took my food home. I warmed it up in the microwave and it still tasted great. Pros: Awesome food Cons: parking more

Consistently Good Tex / Mex, on Famous Lower Greenville. I've not found a bad thing on the menu. My favorite is the Flautas with Tomatilla sauce. Muy Bien. Nice Bar Area; very popular place nights. I would not reccomend this establishment, I have had better Mexican/Tex-Mex food in an airport. Their refried beans taste like canned bean dip and their sauces don't seem to match the dishes they are paired with. Service is marginal, not bad but certainly not worthy of more than 20%. Best Fajitas and Quickest Service 12/5/2006

If you're like me, not one Mexican restaurant is great all around, but this is one of my favorites because they have the best fajitas out of any other place that I've tried. First, you must have one of their tasty margaritas to wash down the chips and salsa because they are good enough to make that frown a big happy smile. Make sure that you are ready for your meal because after you order those fajitas, they will be on your table sizzling away in no time. Their fajitas are the best because they come out in big, juicy strips and they don't skimp on the amount of meat they give you. Every time I eat there, that is all I ever order, besides the Margaritas!! Pros: Fast service, food, Margaritas Cons: Friday and Saturday night waiting more

Incredible Margaritas and Food, especially the fish taco appetizer which I wish I had the sauce receipe 10/15/2006

Visiting from OKC having just come from the OU-Texas Red River Shootout. Was great environment, atmosphere and the Texas fans were doing there best not to rub it in. Had to frozen Margaritas during our brief 20 minute wait. Fish Tacos are a must. Guacamole might have been even better than my own receipe. Chimichanga and crab enchiladas were our entrees which were generous, temp great and taste well worth the wait. Had two more drinks at table during meal. Service was very prompt. Only negative thing was Chimicahanga - ordered beef and received chicken instead...was still grat. Pros: Food and drinks Cons: None....noise level high but was after the big game. more
