Blue Front Cafe

i just tried blue front; remembering the haight street fair was on this weekend i phoned in my order, walked the dog and went to pick it up. the place was very crowded tho airy and seemed like a place to hang with friends and enjoy any of the fine selections they have to offer at reasonable NON upper haight/ cole valley prices. i had the falafal burrito and garden salad[$14+change]. when i got it home it was quite a bit of food for one; the burrito was stuffed [not over-stuffed] with avocado cucumber refreshing and filling the salad was huge for just a garden salad. slices of tomato cucumber lotsa lettuce[crisp!] sprouts DELIGHTFUL and delicious. if you dont want to feel crowded check out their menu on-line, like i did and phone it in; i have a feeling this place is crowded regularly! or grab a cupla friends and enjoy the place either way ya'gotta eat here! the wraps are awesome & the portions are great! Gotta love the hot sauce served with all their wraps. Strawberry lemonade is my favorite! Great value for the portions that you get. Defenitly worth waiting for. I moved from the neighberhood & still take the 30 min drive at least twice a month..YUM!! Oh don't forget to try their homemade cookies, they are absolutely delicious! more

Absolutely by far one of the best places in SF to grab lunch or a quick dinner! Try the Chicken Ceasar Sandwich, or a Chicken Fillet Sandwich on sliced sourdough - YUM!!! There's nothing on the menu that's bad, so you can't go wrong! Pros: inexpensive, friendly service, GREAT food! Cons: parking is difficult, it's in the haight more
