Best no cost lender anywhere! They were able to close my loan as expected. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. They closed my loan without any fees and credited me for the appraisal just like they said they would. When they were busy I would email or call and leave a message and they would call me back that same day. The next loan I get will be with Blue Brick Financial! Thanks a million! more

If I could give them negative stars, I would. Terrible company to do business with. Would not recommend to anyone unless you want absolutely no communication (none, zero, zilch, nada), slow action, and a higher than promised rate (.75 higher including .24% they added for no apparent reason). I assume the .24 is how they cover the "zero cost" processing. With all of the good mortgage companies out there, there is no room in the market for such a poor company. Whatever you do, learn from my error and don't use Blue Brick Financial. Read other reviews. I wish I would have paid attention to them. Will never, ever, ever use them. I have made sure to tell everyone I know and posted on the electronic bulletin board at work for my fellow 3000 employees in Phoenix not use them. more

I recently purchased my first home and had a great experience with Blue Brick Financial. I had a short close and from start to finish the whole process was done in under 3 weeks. The rate I was quoted, was the rate I got on my closing papers. I will be contacting them when I am ready to refinance.. and have recommended them to several friends and family members. more

There should be a rating of NEGATIVE STARS !!!The person we dealt with did not acknowledge he is the primary person in the company because he knows he is not truthful.We are not newbies in mortgage in refinancing my husband in real estate and me have had a few houses in the past. We trusted him because he teaches "mortgage" class in refinancing school in the local mesa az!! It was not 'right " from the beginning. We were given preliminary approval based on their "income /debt ratio when I asked for a paper showing my qualification, i ws expecting a calculation, instead they gave me a paper that is typewritten with a generic saying who the lender and that it is 'preapproved". I gave it the benefit of the doubt though my gut is protesting. Then throughout the process I kept asking for the interest rate then they will go back to him to ask what interest rate I was quoted. The secretary will not say anything that will contradict what your agent will tell you. They sent an appraiser on saturday dressed like he is going to the bbq. I voiced my concern with my wife but still she insisted to continue. Then when asking for HUD settelement after we were approved (in email sent by the secretary and speaking with this gentleman), we were sent this generic paper that again is not legal. When I asked for a "real" HUD closing statement I was then told 2 days after I WAS NOT APPROVED. This is a front for an appraiser company or they are related to one. DO NOT USE unless you want to waste money or time. We lost our precious time, and $500 in appraisal. I was also told " dont lock" because YOU WILL BE then locked into getting this mortgage when ready means I have no choice but to enter into refinancing once I locked in. shady shady shady... more

I have used Blue Brick twice now and have had 2 good experiences. Both refinances. The first one closed real quick and no cost - even reimbursed appraisal at closing as a credit. The 2nd one took longer because of the demand and low rates. Didn't need an appraisal this time and still no cost. I would recommend if you are looking to refinance or purchase a home. more

These guys are a joke in the lending industry. I'm a well qualified borrower with high credit and plenty of income. I submitted all of the documentation to refi a duplex I own after shopping rates for a few weeks and deciding to give Blue Brick a try. After sending over all of my paperwork to complete their application, they disappeared. I called several times and emailed a couple of different people with absolutely no response. This is completely unacceptable for a mortgage company to have no communication after receiving all of the financial information on an individual (I know, because I used to be a licensed loan officer and real estate agent). About a month passed by before somebody tried to email me and ask for more preliminary documentation. A normal loan brokerage would've responded within a day or two...not a whole frikkin' month! Don't give these guys any information. Go to professionals that will get the job done for you while rates are low. Incidentally, rates jumped almost a whole point while I was waiting for these sorry saps to get back to me. Amazed that people like this are staying in business! Their incompetence has cost me a significant amount of money now that my refi rate will be higher. more

Can I give Blue Brick zero stars? Took two months for our refi, by the closing time the rate had gone up more than our original. Complete lack of communication. I literally harassed everyone for two weeks for the status on my loan and still heard crickets!!! Ridiculous company. Thanks for the complete waste of time, now I'm suck with an appraisal fee. I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy! more

I contacted Blue Brick financial about refinancing, we were quoted 3.25% for a 30 yr mortgage. Everything is done over e-mail which was OK, They kept us informed unitl the got all our information. They requested we pay $425 for the apprasial and we would be reimbursed. 2 weeks later they were ready to close. The title company showed up to close and the Interest rate was 3.75%. I refused to sign the papers. I contacted then the following Monday, they had no idea the loan hadn't closed. I took 2 more days to get any answers, they said the rates had moved up since they gave us the quote and they can't lock in the rate until it goes for final approval. I never did here back from the Roger the loan officer, but finally talked to the manager. He said we just have to wait for the rates to drop again. I call now to check the rates and they don't answer or return my calls. If they weren't locked in they should of told me before I paid for an appraisal. I am still trying to get a copy of the appraisal. I am afraid this will end up in court. more
