Bloomingdale Towing

Bloomingdale Cops, who are obviously receiving kickbacks from these hicks, refused to let me call my own towing company or move my drivable (at least out of the roadway) car after Mexican with no license hit my car in their crappy city. Cops forced me to use this trashy towing ""company"" (for whom the police had a couple hundred business cards in their possession, and passed out to us like old ladies handing out coupons at the mall.) Bloomingdale Towing are trying to charge me 120 base amount plus fees everyday it sits there for an accident I was not responsible for, and the insurance companies refuse to pay for it because it isn't a body shop. I called some lawyers, and even they won't bother interfering with this racket. ""Tough deal, you won't win; the cops do what they want here,"" one attorney told me. Stay clear of the Chicago suburbs. Don't spend your money there, don't give them your tax revenue, let them rot and enjoy turning into a ""new"" Mexico. Corruption City, indeed. more

This company is a huge rip off. Towed my car on a Friday. They close at noon on Saturday and closed on Sunday. I picked my car up on Monday morn at 9:00 am and they charged me for a whole day. I called at was given the price of $140.00 over the phone but when I got there I had to pay an additional $30 dollars per day even closed days. My wallet (which only holds a few Id cards and SS card) was in between my seat and the console (I forgot it was there) was stolen out of my car and when I called them they were very snotty over the phone and could really care less. I guess they don't give a rat's butt about who they hire and customer service. NOT A GOOD COMPANY AND DOES NOT EMPLOY GOOD PEOPLE!!!!!! more

nice friendly driver, extremly fast was stuck on 290 in middle lane and i was pretty freaked out just like mostly everyone they charged me reasonable rates at 65 for the hook up and 3 a mile, in wich i called around and found them to be cheapest unless u speak spanish then the mexicans would do it for 50 and 2 but anyways i had a great experance would reccomend them to everyone and anyone who needs a tow quickly. i would also recommend them to bob drif again he just was having a bad day cry baby. Do not use this company, they only sought gain from our loss! My wife got into an accident in Addison yesterday and was taken to the Elmhurst hospital. We went to the police department to find out were they had towed the vehicle. It was towed by Bloomingdale Towing for $125, we went to the bank and pulled out $125. We got there and were informed that there was a $40 ""shrink wrapping"" fee, $5 fuel surcharge, and a $45 flatbed fee. The car was totaled and was not drivable. We had hoped to get something for it since the $125 fee was due no matter what decision we made (all other charges would be ""waived"" in exchange for the title). They only added more stress to an already traumatic day. The employees were inhospitable at best, making it clear their only concern was what they could gain from our loss. Insisting more charges would be added if we wanted to remove the car. They were greedy and dishonorable, I do not recommend this company for any reason. Cons: Poor service, please read details more
