Blind & Shutter Gallery

We previously used Blind & Shutter Gallery for window treatments in our St. Petersburg home. We recently built a new home in North Carolina and since the service and products that we received from Blind & Shutter Gallery in the past were so outstanding we decided to use this company again for our new home. We spoke with Peter, the owner, and he agreed to come to North Carolina and help us with recommendations on what products would best suit our home. Peter made the trip up here, spent a day going over the different products that he felt would work and making great recommendations as to the type of treatments that he felt would be best for our home. . The products arrived in a timely manner, Peter found a very competent installer in our area and, much to our surprise, Peter flew back up to personally oversee and supervise the installation. . It is refreshing to find a small company that consistently puts the customer first, provides a good quality product for a fair price and most importantly gives good hands on customer service. Thanks Peter and staff for always doing a good job! more

Terrible work ethic, had an appointment for 10:30 A.M\r I had to call Kim at 11 only to find out she was still in Sarasota. she said she was MAYBE about 30 minutes away. at 12:30 tried calling a couple of times with no answer. This our second appointment that she is unable to meet. Would not recommend this company to anyone even if the shutters were free. \r \r I later realized that this may have been the wrong company. Al though I may have made a mistake, I will not leave out how disrespectful and rude he was to my office manager when he called to have this comment removed. The actual owner is crude, unprofessional and cursed at my employee. I still wouldn't recommend this company. more

My husband and I needed beautiful solar shades fast. I showed up at the Blind & Shutter Gallery at 4:45pm to see what they had. Despite being scheduled to close at 5pm Brenna stayed late to help me select samples to view again the next day in our space when Peter came out to take measurements. We received great service and prices. I will recommend Blind & Shutter Gallery to friends, and will definitely shop with them again. more

We have never had member of our staff named Kim in the 11 years we have been in business. I apologize for any confusion. Teddy, I am very sorry for any communication issues you may have had with our company. We have made many changes in the past year, mainly focused on service. We are a small family owned business that was established and has remained in St. Petersburg for 11 years. We pride ourselves on providing the best quality products and service for our customers. We are currently expanding and hope that you would consider stopping by to see the improvements we have made. more

Not Recommended! We were quite disappointed with The Blind and Shutter Gallery. We paid top dollar for our window treatments but the service was really poor. They were generally not very responsive. They would tell us that something we ordered would be in by a certain date. The date would pass and we wouldn't hear from them. We always had to follow up with them to find out if they received the order and to arrange for installation. They showed up for the installation without all the materials so they couldn't do the complete job at one time. We had not been informed of this in advance and we had a guest sleeping in a room with no window treatment for a few days. The people we spoke with at the shop were rather indifferent toward our situation and not very accommodating. I found the owner to be difficult and erratic to deal with - friendly and personable for one interaction and yelling and temperamental on the next. more
