Best wine selections in Boston. Love the friendly staff too more

Over the years, I've purchased cases of wine from Blanchard's (West Roxbury) each year. Recently, I contacted the ""new"" online sales woman and asked her to let me know if she could put together a rather large order of wines that they do not usually stock. In the past, the online sales lady (Kathryn) was great at researching my requests and working closely with me to obtain some great products. The current lady ignored my requests for weeks and, when, finally I complained to the manager, she called me and said she didn't have the time (or the inclination?) to obtain my requested wines and that she would have the wine manager call me. It's 3 months later and I'm still waiting. I've since taken my business to Solera (in Roslindale) where they bend over backwards to obtain anything you might be looking for. Its amazing, I was told they hired a local architect who knew what the community was looking for. They have built a wine tasting room and chefs kitchen for events and seminars that they now offer. The selection and the price is better than anyone's and I have shopped at most stores. They isn't any reason to go anywhere else. For a business that has been in Boston forever they are a hard act to follow.
