We took our 1985 Lindy Motor home with a 460 Ford Engine to them over a month ago and just got it back today with a bill of over $1,000. When we took it in it was having problems with what seemed like a fuel line or vacuum leak problem. They said no problem, couldn't get to it till Monday (this was a Friday). Almost 2 weeks later they called said that it probably needed a carbuerator replaced which would cost about $700. When they called again yesterday they said they hadn't put a carbuerator in but had done other work on, checking vacuum lines, etc. and had put in over 8 hours work on it, but it ran perfectly. We picked it up today and could get it home without going 25 miles an hour. This is not what I call running perfectly!!! when I called them back to let them know, they just said we put the hours in. I've already told friends not to use this Blake Auto Repair and called the car dealership and told them not to refer them anymore. Now we still have to have the work done on
