Best haircut and color! I recently visited Linda and felt like she rolled out the red carpet. Her co-workers are so friendly and I received great hospitality from them the moment I walked through the door. I left with the best hair cut I have had in years and the color is fantastic. I was given Linda's name as a superb person for hair color, and I went to my appointment at Blade yesterday. I went in with an unhealthy-looking drab shade of dark brown/red in my hair, and I wanted something brighter that would lighten up my look. Every salon I've gone to in the past has told me that they can't change my look because the color is too dark - and that they'd have to spend 5 to 6 hours lifting all the color from my hair, in order to then go in with a lighter shade. Linda at Blade looked at my hair situation and came up with a winning solution that far exceeded my expectations. She absolutely transformed my look and gave me the hair I was dreaming of! I left with a lustrous warm brown plus super-cool swaths of ginger ""ombre"" lowlights. As an aside, I asked Linda about fixing the bad haircut that I got elsewhere, and she had amazing ideas ranging from subtle changes to a whole new style. I booked a hair cut with her for a couple weeks from now. Hands down. Linda is the best person I've ever gone to for color. She really knows what she's doing, uses high-quality products, and is the consumate artist and professional. I can't wait to see what she does with a cut! more

I had to write an updated review after I went to see Linda for a ""back to school"" style change and once again she rocked it! My new copper locks and edgy pixie is just what I needed! Very comfortable but clean and artistic atmosphere. I am a straight guy and Elgin is the best hair dresser I've had and I have lived in many places. They are a reasonable price and are very flexible with ideas. Last time i went in I just let Elgin choose a look with a few specifications i said and i turn out wonderful. I have been going to Linda for more years than I can count. Every time I walk out I feel fabulous, my color is amazing and the cut is great from the moment I leave until I get back there (but she always says ""Well, just let me clean it up!). Over the years she has gently guided me in color and cut so I look contemporary and stylish. And it's not just that she is extremely competent.
