I have been going here for several years now and have always found the staff to be caring and compassionate. Last year we lost our dog to cancer and the vet made a housecall at the end of her life. He let her die with dignity at our home and allowed us the time we needed to grieve. more

Small Town Greatness! 8/10/2011

We have used both of the Cheney vets, and truly they are both wonderful. Blackhawk has always been so considerate with all of our animals over the years. They have always been good with diagnosing the odd ailments our pets have. Also, they are very thoughtful and always do follow-up phone calls after every visit (other than routine vaccinations)! more

Terrible experience 8/4/2011

I have had better customer service at the dmv! The girls that work there couldn't have been more inconsiderate to me or my dog. They gave me almost no advice on how to take care of my animals ear infection and charged me $70 for it. I have heard bad things all over town about this place and I should have listened. You are better off going to spokane for vet service. The vet clinic TLC off the sprague ex is wonderful and affordable. more

Blackhawk Veterinary Hospital has great staff! 7/20/2010

One of the hardest things I had to do was let my companion of 17 years enter into eternal rest. She was my best friend. The staff weas compassionate and understanding. I was a part of the whole process, which I appreciated. I received a card from them a few days later with a personal note and I could tell it was sent with heartfelt condolences. The staff makes the hospital. They are my family's choice for veterinary care for their dogs and horses. Make them your choice, too. Cons: No actual website. Hope they get one soon! more

Blackhawk Veterinary Hospital is terrific! 12/11/2009

This place has been the main veterinary clinic in the Cheney area for decades. They are dependable and will provide your dog or cat with all the love they deserve. more
