Wow! This dance studio really has it together. Non-intimidating, fantastic pole dance classes. I am a little-larger then some of the students, but felt right at home with these ladies. Absolutely the best workout I have ever had! We had so much fun and the group is always very diverse. The front desk staff is great, the instructors are incredible and I have been back numerous times so far. They have a beautiful new building with really tall poles. I have been to other "pole dance studios" in Los Angeles and realized that they all strive to be what Blackbird Dance Co is already. I plan on registering for their next 6-week pole dance series. I want to performs in their next show on stage! My next immediate challenge: Go-Go Stiletto. Beyonce-style dancing in high heels! Blackbird Dance Co offers these classes and it looks great. Blackbird Dance Co is my new home for fun and exercise. I highly recommend this studio, even if you currently take pole classes elsewhere. If you come here you more

SOMETHING GREAT FOR EVERYONE. I love the great classes Blackbird Dance Co offers! It`s so convenient that me and my 8 yr old daughter can both take class at the same time. While she`s upstairs getting her dance on, Mama`s doing the same thing downstairs.The memberships were affordable and flexiable. This is a great studio, with wonderful classes and instructors. My daughter and I both love the studio, and we love spending our free time together there. Try it and you`ll love it, they really have something for everyone!!! more

I took a series of swing dancing classes here. The demographic tended to be older than my own (early 20's), but it was nevertheless fun...when I had a partner. They say you don't have to have a partner, but often the women outnumbered the men and the men that came were quickly claimed by possessive female partners who refused to let them dance with anyone else. Very eclectic mix of people- all very nice, including the staff. While the instruction went a bit slow for my taste, it was fantastic to see these old men who are regulars there glide around the dance floor in a variety of styles. They had clearly learned a thing or two about dancing. more
