I was Trying to Leave off The Patio Exit Door I was met by a Racist Manager that said I couldnt Leave off the Patio, I pointed at my car be pulled up at the Valet, I tried to leave again and was tackled to the ground by a 6""4 , 320 pd bouncers and also another big bouncers was tryna handcuff me.. An off duty Police Officer from Cockrell Hill named officer Mike Sutton Peppersprayed me and I was tazered ,beat and placed in a chokehold where i was Knocked out.. Waking up after being slammed on my face I was taking to jail charged with 3 felony assualts.. The off duty officer acted as if he was with the Arlington Police dept and lied under oath, told the real Police I punched him in the face which was a major felony to my record...Now the Charges went to the Grand Jury where the charges where DISMISSED but still remains on my record..Blackfinn Also charges you double on your tab and the bartenders and waiters write in there own tips on your credit card bill.. To whom it may concern, on many occassions i have visited Black Finn in addison, tx on every encounter i get a hard time about getting in stating my clothes arent fitting me right or i cant wear a hat and when i observe white american guys around me dressed the same as i am and i feel and i am VERY discriminated on as an african american man. Friday 05/29/10 their was an discrepancy where i was told to leave due to management stating i stiffed a cover. I am a business owner and feel very OFFENDED by this action. Ive been coming to this establishment over 4 years and all i receive is problems after problem. AS QOUTED BY EMPLOYEES OF BLACK FINN ""MANAGEMENT DOES NOT WANT AFRICAN AMERICAN GUYS AT BLACKFINN."" Never have i had any other trouble with any other bars in addison always BLACKFINN. I understand keeping a liitle order but its more

food sux, drinks are overpriced and the place is a sh*thole compared to back in the day. don't waste your time! more

place rages after 11pm Th-Sat. mostly 21-26 yr olds. casual attire and attitudes. no cover but plan on paying for parking $5. nice patio. bars back up big time and service is typical night club style (half your time is spent waiting for drinks and when you do get it it's as if the bartender is doing YOU a favor). great dance music (pop/rap/80's remixes). i've also been here when it wasn't busy (anytime before 10pm) and had great service. more

I have been to BlackFinn's on 3 separate occasions. After my last visit, I will not be returning. A few girlfriends and I were waiting for friends in the bar. When they arrived they were turned away because one guy had on pants that were ""too baggy"". The door guy could not tell us what their definition of baggy was. Our friend had on a belt and his pants were sitting on his waist. We given an excuse that they had problems with relaxed dress code the previous weekend. However, we witnessed guys with pants hanging off their butts be granted entrance into the establishment. There were also patrons in gym shorts and cargo shorts covered in holes in the bar, despite their ""strict dress code"" this evening. Our observations lead us to believe they did not want our friend to enter because he was a young, African-American male. Other young African-American males that were attempting to go in as we were leaving were also turned away due to ""baggy"" pants that were not baggy at all. The following week I noticed that I was charged twice for my drinks. I called and spoke with a manager named Shawn and was told that he couldn't find any record of my transaction in their system (the charges had already gone through my account). I was then told if I wanted my money back I'd should call my bank because there was nothing he could do. He then said ""Well if you decide to come back, lemme know and I'll buy your first round of drinks"". He didn't even ask for my name. I won't be going back for those drinks or for any other reason either. more

Went in asked for a table, waited a few minutes for it. Got seated. Sat for at least 5 minutes before a person in our group finally got a hold of someone and asked them to find us a waiter. Another couple of minutes passed and a waiter showed up and took our drink orders. Waiter comes back about 5 minutes later without drinks asking if we want to order appetizers. We say we're waiting for our drinks. Another couple of minutes pass, our drinks arrive. At that time, being the intelligent alcohol connoisseurs that we are, we go ahead and order another round knowing it will be a while before it shows up. Shortly after we finished our first round, the next round shows up. We ordered appetizers and they showed up looking like they had been pulled out of a frozen box followed by microwave. We decided this was not the place we were going to have dinner. The drinks were horrible. We sent one back and it came back tasting as bad as the first time. I would guess half an ounce of alcohol per drink. Our tab showed up with all kinds of wrong charges on it, had to get the waiter to correct it. If you are looking for drinks and a nice dinner, I would avoid this place. We went to Remington's and had a pleasant time. more
