Black-Eyed Susan's is an easily overlooked gem in Nantucket. It's just off Centre St. on India Street, making it maybe a little harder for us non-locals to find. Set up like a diner, its chefs concoct some pretty fantastic stuff mostly right in front of you. I had broiled Northern Pike, flown in from Minnesota apparently, that was simply fabulous. They do not sell beer or wine, but it's BYOB --- so grab a bottle down on Main Street and enjoy an inexpensive evening out on one of the more expensive islands around!
