Black Tie Formal Wear

There is nothing I can say about this place that was nice. I am so diappointed that we rented tuxedos from Black Tie Formal. None of the tuxedos fit anyone. The sole of my fathers rented shoes fell off, and my groom had green gum on the bottom of his shoe and up the side. When I complained I was told that it was not their policy to check the shoes. The shirts were all too big or too small, button covers were missing or broke before the wedding. It was a horrible experience, one that I will tell any bride or groom. If you don't want to be in tears on your wedding day, stay away from this place! more

I made the mistake of renting tuxedos for our wedding party from Black Tie Formal Wear. At first, the experience seemed to go well. The manager was pleasant and informative on the different tux options on our first meeting. When the day came, we rented 9 tuxes of which ONLY 2 actually fit the groomsmen. The manager was unapologetic, rude and not helpful or accommodating when the groomsmen returned to complain about the misfits. Keep in mind, one of the complaints came from the actual groom-- whose tux fit horribly. Normally, I don't write reviews, but the lack of professionalism and over all customer from this place forced me to do this so people can be forewarned before they make a decision. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. more
