Black Diamond Tattoo Studio

I went there today and got a tattoo.. Got my first one there as well. Both came out wonderfully.. FIRST OFF I see that one person complained about the price...CHARGED CLOSE TO 180?? THEY TELL YOU THE PRICE AND YOU PAY THEM BEFORE YOU EVEN GET THE TATTOO! YOU COULD HAVE SAID NO, STUPID! If you don't like the stencil you don't HAVE to get it..sounds to me like a load of BULLSHXT! And really now who the hell cares if someones smoking w33d.. Gimme a break, as long as the tat gets finished and looks good than wtf is the problem? hmmm.. maybe its Black Diamonds competition writing this cr@p? thats really all it is.. are the negative people commenting actually customers? i've gone to black diamond on several occassions, every time i feel very welcome and comfortable. i get my work from j and he a talented artist who givesa good deal. getting tatted there has been a really good experience and i respect every artist in that shop. I have been going to black diamond since i was 18 I am now 22. I have had bad experience's with other tattoo parlors in the past. I started getting tattoos when i was 16 and got some realy bad work done. But the cew at black diamond are great and they have turned all my bad ink into a work of art. Pros: Great artists more

This place is a joke. The young dude smokes way too much. His ""style"" is iffy at best. The girl, while an incredible artist, is a bi-atch. The old dude, well, can't say much about him, seems sketchy though. Cons: to many to list more

So, hubby and I went for tattoos. Treated well, but I was a little nervous about the guy talking about nothing but smoking dope the entire time. Lots of smoke breaks. Kind of wondered how clean it really was. The guys did a good job in the end, but it was nerve wracking that a bunch of low-lifes hang out there with no purpose other than to roll a big fat bone and tease him with it. He was way too preoccupied with getting high asap. Different tattoo artist for me and she did a great job, but took off real quick after getting a huge tip by mistake and not mentioning anything about it. On the positive side, they're not snooty and they have no qualms about tattooing anything you want. I'd be leery more

Black Diamond is, and always has been, a horrible and corrupt place to get a tattoo. The ""artists"", if you can call them that, are always lazy, shady, inept people who are more concerned with ripping you off and making a quick buck ( they usually have habits to support ) than leaving their clients satisfied with a decent tat. The tattoos tend to be rushed and sloppy, and often require a touch-up or cover-up. Then, after they permanately disgrace your body and you pay them, they look at you like they expect a substantial, undeserved tip. The place has an air about it that makes you feel intimidated and unwelcome, and is a magnet for a-holes and trouble. On top of being unsanitary, the artists have been known to drink and pop pills on the job. . Oh well. I'm going right over to Pins and Needles. Pros: Um, close to my house? Cons: Too many to name.
