I was dinner with my son in this place and was waiting 20 minutes to be taken care of. I gave up, I do not come back any more there, never more.

Good Steaks, Respectable Service 2/20/2007

I happened into Black Angus for the first time after seeing one of their ads on tv and in the newspaper. My group all ordered the same steak dish and I'd have to say it was rather tasty. I was happy with the service we received too because the waiter wasn't always around but he didn't disappear either, it was a happy medium. We also took advantage of their appetizer, entree, dessert for two deal which took care of our appetites and didn't dip too much into our wallets. I would return again. Don't even bother... 6/24/2004

Been living in the Bay area for 5 years and have never had a bad meal, except for one night at Black Angus. Had the prime rib and lobster combo and the prime rib was a dried out end piece, the lobster rubbery and tasteless. The only thing vaguely edible was the mashed potatoes. Service was grumpy and the decor slightly better than a cafeteria. With the thousands of decent and good restaurants in the area, why come here? Oh yeah, those really pretty ads in the Sunday paper... Beware... more
