Editorial review from Citysearch 5/27/2013

Called in 30 minutes ahead for my party of 10 to arrive. We waited for over 2 1/2 hours....NEVER have I ever had a problem like this at the Century City or Culver City locations!\r Finally when we were seated - the hostess, server, floor manager apologized for the wait! Very disappointed in the service. good food. \r I recommend somewhere else if you want to be seated in a timely manner! more

Best Place to Get a Drink in the Area 11/21/2011

I love this place! There are alot of cool little dive bars in the area but if your looking for someplace a little less shady, with great beer and not as many creepers, this is where its at. \r My favorite thing about BJ's? The AMAZING bartenders. Casey, Patrick and Andy are the best around. They make a damn good drink and always in a good mood. Polite and professional, I couldnt ask for more! I have never had a negative experience and I will contiune to go back. \r But there was one thing I found kind of odd and thats the uniforms of the bartenders and managers. The bartenders seem to be dressed alot more professionally than the managers are (no tie?). The servers wear white shirts which is a little impractical for a server whos dealing with food all day. Just sayin... more

Decent Beers 4/22/2010

Huge beer selection in addition to their own brewed beers. Lambics on tap and many different Belgium brews in bottles. Prices reduced on their own beers during happy hour and reduced prices on appetizers. Enough televisions to catch a variety of sporting events. Pros: good happy hour Cons: parking more

Pazookie is terrific at all bj locations EXCEPT... 7/22/2009

BJ pizza at Laguna Niguel California consistently rre-cooked the cookie pazookie for us and also other customers. Complained our server but he said ""oh well."" more

Nice place 11/4/2008

I love Bj's Restaurant, best asian salad! always busy though, but worth it, cool hang out place too ! Pros: Variety Cons: Parking more

Consistent chain, but it's true, it's all about the pazookie 7/22/2008

This place is great. their food is always consistent. Never had a bad experience here. They have a great bar and a ton of beers on tap, but the truth is the major draw other than the big screens and beer is the pazookie. It's the most amazing cookie/ ice cream combination that you will ever put in your mouth. It's hard to go wrong with any menu choice here, but if anything do yourself a favor and try the chocolate chip pazookie more

Pazookie. 2/11/2008

One word: PAZOOKIE. That's the main reason people go to BJ's. There's really nothing like it. Who would have ever thought that a simple (but huge) cookie with ice cream on top could create such a frenzy? Aside from that amazing item, they have pretty good food, very Chicago-based (especially their deep dish pizza), usually in big portions. It's a fun place, I like it. But if you haven't ever had a Pazookie, GO. NOW. more

Nice place to go with friends that won't break your wallet too much 10/29/2007

Let's make things clear that even though they serve a thick crust pizza, it is nowhere near as good as a real Chicago deep dish. BJ's is one of those franchise restaurants where you can go with a group of friends and enjoy decent priced food and drink their own branded beer. Most people that go to this particular BJs are there to watch whatever sports game is being broadcast. Pros: Decent Prices Cons: Root Beer isn't very good here more

You can get what you want to eat with reasonable proce and good services 10/25/2007

The services was not good before. i just noticed that the services are much better now. I always like the food. teh variety of food is also great. Of coise, pazookie is absolutely something you need to have. more

pazookie! 11/17/2006

The pazookie is the main reason to go. If you go with a group, get the pazookie platter -- it has every kind of cookie fresh out of the oven covered in ice cream. Their brewed root beer is cool too, comes frosted in a glass with no ice. more

Best Girl Beer Ever 10/26/2006

OK I love this place. When I go I always have to have a mini-pizza, a pazookie( if you haven't had onr and love dessert please try it out, I gaurantee you will love it) and wash it down with a Berry Burst Cider. Also this is an awesome after wokr place, great Happy hour with drink and food specials. They also have lunch specials. Pros: Happy Hour & lunch specials more

Good food, great place to watch a game 7/16/2006

With the huge bar and big screen tvs above it, BJs is a great place to watch any major sporting game. The food and beer selection is extensive and always appealing. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat with friends! Pros: food, ambience Cons: can get crowded more

BJ's is awesome 6/2/2006

this place is good for kids and adults. I have been here a few times as a couple and also with the kids. All times were great. Try the beer sampler platter. It has a smaple shot of every beer they serve. Food is excellent! Pros: Food, Beer menu, kids optional Cons: valet parking, self parking more

BJ's Restaurant & Brewery 6/6/2005

BJ's has fabulous food. Granted I haven't tried them all, but from what I have tried, it's been great. They offer many choices including pizza, salads (specialty salads too) , pasta, burgers, sandwiches, ribs, chicken and much more and of course there's great microbrewed beer too. You can eat it there, take it out or even have it delivered! The ambiance is cozy, the lighting is dim and inviting. PROS: Great food , desserts and beer. CONS: Dim lighting a bit hard to see in at first. more

Poor service 5/18/2005

Service was, how should I say, A LACK THERE OF!! With such a great presence in the california market, you would think that the company would pride themselves of great service! Ah, but there in that lies the answer. Are they to worried about their IPO and not concentrating on the existing restaurants? from the service, ii would think it to be so. more
